Brewers looking great. Ryan Braun is a fucking beast. 6-8 in the series with 2 doubles and a HR.

Up 2-0 and the Cards steal a win last night from the Phillies. Let's hope the Cardinals can pull out a series win. Homefield throughout would be amazing.
 
Should the Brewers keep this up, everyone around Milwaukee, from CEOs to GEDs, from college to kindergarten, will be applying beast mode to their everyday lives. Cooked a good dinner? Beast. Got a good raise at work? Beast. Unlocked a hidden level? Beast. Aced the test? Beast.

And all of this would be so over-the-top unfortunate if not for one slight detail: These Brewers really are beasts, and they should be around this October for a good, long time.

Yankees are in the same situation, douchebag.

I bought game 5 tickets last week hoping I wouldn't need them. Tomorrow will either be the best day or the worst day. I sure hope it's the former.
 
Believe it or not, in this series, the expected has happened.

The Brewers don't lose at home...they didn't. The Diamondbacks don't lose at home...they didn't. Braun and Fielder carry the Brewers' offense...they did. The Diamondbacks hit home runs and steal bases...they did. The Brewers don't hit Collmenter...they didn't. The Diamondbacks have had success against Wolf and Marcum...they did.

OK then...

In his career, vs the Diamondbacks, Yovani Gallardo has never lost. Ever. In his career, Gallardo has held Arizona to a team batting average of .188, with an OPS of .556.

When the Brewers clinched the division, Gallardo was on the mound. When the Brewers won Game One, Gallardo was on the mound. Tomorrow night...it happens again.

I loved how well they were playing. That obviously didn't go with them to Arizona. If Gallardo pitches the way he did in game one the Brewers advance. It all comes down to him and I think he will be able to handle the pressure given how well he dealt with it in game 1.

We will find out tomorrow.

I'm indifferent about the decision, but he had damn near the exact same stats as Saunders.

Both: 33 Starts
Both: 3.69 ERA
Both: .266 BAA
Saunders: 212 IP Wolf: 212.1 IP

Only difference was Randy gave up 6 less HR during the regular season and Saunders led the league in getting the GIDP.
