got finished with the 1st assassination mission. it took me a long time. i played slow and check all over for loot and different paths to complete the mission.
i think the game plays very well. very smooth and the controls are great. its fun playing stealth or trying to not be detected at all. i like to kill people though so i did alot of killing too.
The game looks good, but not anything to impressive by any means.
There are alot of things to search for during a mission and the ways you go about completing an objective are what make the game alot of fun
i dont like how when the enemies do find u they just bum rush you from all angles. you can get whacked a few times real fast and all of a sudden its over.
the objectives have some issues too. nothing major but worth mentioning. first, they dont really give you a good idea of what the point of the objective is. They give a general statement, but dont give any follow up text as to why or what the reason is for this. When a game is story driven you would like know what is going on and why you are doing something.
Another thing that bugs me is the objective indicator. there seem to always be 3 or more on the screen at different times. they can each be shut off, but then u dont know where to go. i just with the indicators were more easy to look at and didnt feel like it took over the screen. Runes and bones also give u indicators. you need these, but it would be nice if they didnt just give you a marker saying how far away these things are...some searching would have been cool.
another real annoyance to me is not having a map. you have no idea where you are or have been. These boards are no to big so you dont get lost, but still, no map is just stupid imo.
overall i think its a very good game. i would say $40 is a fair price....especially if you like stealth games.
