Since she is already involved with the management of the team, having her be able to buy him out for half of the value of the team would be a nice divorce settlement for her. She could bring in Magic and his investment group as co-owners :yep:

I don't think anybody believes that she really feels that he isn't a racist. She is married to him, she's probably a racist too but she wasn't implicated and stands to profit when he is forced to sell the team.
