Draft Combine Impressions

I can't figure out how to use iso-motion for the life of me. Defense seems like it will be a lot harder this year as there is no lock-on D whatsoever.

Other than that it feels exactly like 2K9, and I'm pretty dissapointed

The new team-mate grades are random and sporadic. I won't get a "good shot selection" on a wide open 15 footer that I make, but then I'll get a "bad shot selection" on an uncontested layup. Then randomly sometimes you get a "good pass" without the pass really meaning anything.

EDIT:Just so it doesn't sound like I'm bitching because I suck lol, also sometimes when you get a shot blocked or make a shitty pass it won't penalize you either.

The game penalizes you much more for your mistakes which I guess makes it more challenging to get a good teammate grade.

1st game: 10 points 11 assists 4 turnovers

I only got 1/3 goals: C+ team rating (got a C)
shoot 45% (This was tough as hell because my guy is terrible, I went 4/14)
Forcer opposing PG to 2 TO's (I don't like this because the only way you can really control it is by reaching, but he made a couple bad passes and got it)

This shit was produced a couple months ago, they were saying this game is like a NBA 2k9.5 not the full NBA 2k10 experience.

This game is pretty fun, pretty hard, but that's a good thing. Can't wait to play the final version.

Sidenot: Iso is a little tough to pull off. I guess its an adjustment I have to make. Maybe in NBA 2K10 you can use the old controller settings. :dontknow:

about as long as you play the 5-6 combine games and 6 drills after that its really a lil bit useless unless you want to master all the shots in the game which they said will prob change before the game drops

I think, once you're done with all 6 draft combine games, you're done. But then you can import your player to 2k10 and play with him in the new player mode.

But there are more than just games to play. There are drills, shoot arounds, etc.

Customization is amazing! Very detailed shots and everything.

I wonder if Draft Combine will be included in My Career Mode, if not then if you don't download it online then you can't play Career Mode?

No....you create a player and go as an undrafted rookie. You start off on a disadvantage.
