I was super jazzed when it was first released because of how much of a nostalgic hold the original has over me (it blew my mind as a kid for how crazy it was in terms of you could miss a entire tail end of the game if you didn't find the correct secrets -- discovering that on my own before the internet was very rewarding), but the more I see about it now, the more I just figure I can play the original. The voice acting doesn't interest me (especially since most of the cast has one foot in the grave, and sounds like it), and I can beat the original in like 3 hours. I don't want to sound all Twigg-like, but $15 for 3 hours and "upgrades/updates" that I don't really care for isn't exactly a winning value proposition.
