Cleaned up in recruiting with my Buckeyes, got 6 instant commits.

5* DT
4* QB
4* DT
4* DE
4* OLB
4* OG

Beat Marshall 59-10 in the opener, only reason I gave up those points was because of a fluke fake punt pass for a TD and then my 2nd stringers letting them get into field goal range late in the game. Posey mossed 2 kids for 2 TD's... the fade route works like a charm this year with a good big WR.

All-American.

I got lucky, they were all from Ohio and all had me #1 and all jumped at the scholarship first thing.

Playing as Purdue recruiting against Ohio State is a bitch. They have a better ranking in every category and they're close enough to make sure I don't get too many good recruits.

It'll be okay though cause OSU will choke against us on the field anyway.

anyone happen to look at the number of 5 star players available when starting your chise? i knew the amount of talented players was reduced but i didnt know to what extent.

In my new OD i have just 29 5 star players. I then created a few offline dynasties to check it out. Each test is the number of 5 star players available

i tried a few on varsity and saw no difference. My question is how many 5 stars have u seen in your dynasty?

I'm really starting to think about restarting my dynasty and swapping the Big 12 (minus Nebraska) and the Big Ten, that way I can get a conference title game in year 2. Obviously Colorado and Utah wouldn't be moved to the Pac-10 but it's just something I'm considering right now.

I've only done one so far and there are 31 5* recruits in it. This is on AA recruiting difficulty.

DAM IT! Nebraska is coming to the big 10. i totally forgot about this and would have moved them before i started. I wonder if this can be done in the off season....even if moved u would still have to swap them for another team right?

EA should patch this in

I thought about doing this and moving Utah into the Pac10 replacing some awful team like Washington State. Leaving Colorado in the Big 12 though. Big 12 really goes to shit when you remove Nebraska since the Big 12 north is worthless.

How are you doing the divisions? If you wanted to keep Mich-OSU at the end of the year you'd have swap Mich-OSU with like OU-Ok St or Texas-Tex AM which puts Michigan and OSU in the same division.

I hadn't really thought of that to be honest.

I guess I'll sub OSU-Mich for Texas-Texas A&M and I'll figure out the divisions later.

As it is, I'm waiting for a patch. Once you get into the dynasty, the AWR is way too low for recruits and for WR's, the ELU-Juke-Spin and I believe other ratings are way too low (I'm talking 50s and 60s across the board here).
