Dynasty plans for your coaching career

What are you plans when starting a Dynasty?

Are you going to be an Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, a HC at a small school...or just say screw it and start as a HC at your alum/favorite school. I plan on being an Offensive Coordinator at a 1 star school and doing that at least 3 years before moving on to a HC job at a small conference (such as the WAC or Sun Belt) or Off. Coordinator at a bigger conference. If I am a HC, I will stay there at least for an entire recruiting class; if I'm an Off. Coordinator, I will stay at least 3 years.

I will put Texas A&M as my alum but I won't take a HC job there unless they first ask me to be an Off. Coordinator after my 1st 3 years at the 1 star team. If another BIG XII school brings me into their system as a coordinator and offers me the HC job before A&M does, I will gladly take it (even with Texas). Any other BCS conference, I will have to look at the school traditions, uniforms, and custom sound library (to make games more interesting) before I accept. Not sure how many years I will stay as a HC at a big school (depends on how much fun I am having with the game), but if I'm already in the BIG XII, I will only leave for a school with football traditions. If I'm not in the BIG XII, I would be willing to go to Texas A&M several years down the line (after making my current school dominate).

I will take a HC job at a 1 star school, preferably one of the top 5 worst rated schools in the game. I like a challenge. Don't have much plans after that. Never really want to end up at a great school, as it just isn't as fun if you are handed a good team and don't make one yourself.

So much shit to do this year...got my regular dynasty, then I want to run a RTG, plus the coaching dynasty. My plans are OC at a 1-star school, then move up to HC at a 1-star school, then move to OC at a BCS school, HC at a BCS school, then HC at a big name school.

...and with Madden franchise upgraded. Fuck me, I've got a lot of updating.

I will probably HC a teambuilder team, build them up and hopefully win a conference championship at some point, then move on

Start off as a DC at some low rated school and work my way up.

Might find more enjoyment in that and the game might last a little longer.

We'll see.

Can't wait for waterboy mode where you start out as a lowly gatorade peddler that eventually walks on then move up from towel boy to taping practices.. Watch out for the wind! If you survive that, you can be a scout, then maybe a position coach.. You could kill a good 20 years in waterboy mode.. Sound like a winner to me!

But seriously, OC at a traditionally option school that I will convert to a pro style offense, then hopefully be HC at a Big 12 school, preferably Mizzou.

I'll definitely start off as a lowly OC somewhere. Make a name for myself with my brilliant offensive gameplans and get on at a bigger school. Eventually make my way into a BCS OC job and then hopefully get a HC opportunity at a smaller and weaker BCS school (think Syracuse). After that, all bets are off once I make them a powerhouse. Unless Texas or USC come calling, I'll stay loyal to whatever school gave me a HC shot.

Just took the head coaching job at Memphis. Straight D ratings across the board. Starting my first game now. Just want to get a feel for it, I'll be starting it over once the OS rosters come out.

Probably start out as a DC at a big school. Try to win a NC and then take over my own program at a mid-major or lower-ranked school in a BCS conference. I will probably go this route as I don't have nearly as much time to dedicate to a career mode as I once did and I don't want to dig too deep of a hole for myself and never play in a big game or not have a shot at a NC.

probably do HC at osu and run that dynasty for a couple years, until braxton miller leaves. Then fucks around with being an OC or DC at smaller schools.

I created the University of Montana in team builder (pretty proud of my job :smug so i'm going to use them in my dynasty and replace the Idaho Vandals in the WAC, then move Montana into the MWC and move TCU in the Big East (i can't believe that ea didn't just automatically move tcu to the big east after year 1)

i'll be starting off as the DC for Montana and then i'll just go from there, hopefully coming back to Montana as a HC sometime.

I took over for Western Kentucky as the OC and took them to an 8-4 record losing to Kentucky, LSU, Arkansas State and Troy. I will play out the second year of my contract and either take a HC job for a small school, hopefully Marshall, or an OC with a BCS school. I declined the OC position for Maryland, Temple, Southern Miss and Central Michigan.

I'm going to start off with my usual dynasties then maybe go to North Texas as the OC and work my way to the HC there then on to a BCS school

So I turned Air Force into a pro style offense as the OC and the RB still won the Heisman with 2000+ yards and 20+ rushing TDs... Recruiting sucked so the team has regressed. Hopefully I can get out after this season and go somewhere good.
