East First Round: [#7] Boston Celtics vs. [#2] New York Knicks

The Celtics play in the 2nd half these 2 games has been god awful. Really could've stolen one of these 2 games on the road with a little better effort in the last 24 minutes. Also a great defensive effort by the Knicks though, Mike Woodson really has them playing great on that side of the ball.

I think it more has to do with the Celtics being so underpowered, I still don't get why people thought the Celtics were better without Rondo.

Nobody with half a brain actually believed a Rondoless Celtics team is better. He's by far the team's catalyst. While he's frustrating at times, the team is still light years better with him. /captainobvious

I'm a little surprised personally that the Celtics haven't managed to pull out at least one win in this series, definitely didn't think they would be swept, but that appears to be what's going to happen. Kind of became readily apparent when they only managed to score 8 points in the 4th quarter of game one. If they couldn't win that one, they weren't going to win any.

That being said, I think this is as far as the Knicks get. While they've looked better than the Celtics, they have been pretty unimpressive.

Indy is gonna be a tough, long series...but what's been so unimpressive about the Knicks? They've limited Boston to under 80 points in each of these 3 games.

Felton has been playing out of his mind, Melo and JR have been doing what they have all year, Prigioni/Kidd/Martin have been big contributors and this team has been on fire for the past month-plus (since the terrible west coast trip in mid March, they've lost only 1 time).
 
The unimpressive thing is that the Celtics should be up 2-1 in series if they could knock down open shots. This Celtics team is just so underpowered really no reason for Knicks fans to be bragging.
 
After such a great comeback, tough loss.

Oh well, they'll be able to finish them off at home. No more of that Jason Terry BS.
 
I bet the Knicks would have if swept if J.R. didn't have a knucklehead moment. Inexcusable in the playoffs. Hopefully the lesson was learned.

Um, what happened to the Knicks offense? I can't even remember the last time they scored. Instead of all of this iso ball they need to run some sets, attack the rim or post Carmelo.
