Of course Wade and Bosh's poor performance have nothing to do with Indys defense during this series right? They just don't want it more/they're a bunch of scrubs. It has nothing do with the fact that once wade touches the ball the entire team takes one step back toward the paint for help defense or if Bosh gets the ball Hibbert/West close out on him and play him upfront not worrying about the drive because they know the other is already in the paint prepared to help. Outside of 1-2 quarters in all of these games (minus game 2 blowout) Lebron has been pretty fucking average to. The main reason Lebron has been scoring is cause he's magically draining the 3 ball now. Every time he drives the entire Pacers team collapses the paint and forces him to dish it out.

This thread is a perfect example of the quality of this section. All of you would make skip bayless proud.

Take away Lebrons 1st Quarter last night, he has 19 points 4 rebounds 3 assists
Take away Lebrons 3rd Quarter from Game 5, he has 14 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists
Take away Lebrons 1st Quarter from Game 4, he has 15 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists

What I'm trying to say is for the most part, the Pacers defense has been able to neutralize the Heat. Lebron has not been having some magical playoff run where he is just dominating the entire game. He's dominating 1 quarter. One of the major reasons games are so close in the series is due to sloppy turnovers by the Pacers on offense. The Pacers have done the same thing to Wade and Bosh. It's not because Wade and Bosh all of the sudden just magically start playing like shit in this series or they stopped wanting it or whatever other bullshit everyone is listening to from Skip. If the Pacers play consistent defense throughout Game 7 they're gonna win. When they execute their game plan the Heat cannot stop them. If not for a 3 second breakdown of the defense in one game, this series would already be over.

Spoelstra needs to pull something out of his ass or Riley's ass and figure out a new gameplan to adapt to the Pacers. The drive and kick isn't working and Lebron can't carry this team by himself. This has already been proven with the Cavs. If you're just gonna play the drive and kick game with Lebron, you need 4 other shooters out there with him. Putting Wade out there is just adding another Pacers defender to the paint cause everyone knows he's about as inconsistent shooting wise as they come. Run some pick and roll or pick and pop. Run some High-Low sets with Wade handling the ball, Lebron on the block, Bosh on the elbow and 2 shooters in the corners, force the double down and kick out. They need to force the Pacers defenders to make a choice on who to guard (9 times out of 10 they're gonna choose Lebron) and then make them pay. Lebron plays great in 1 on 1, so force the Pacers to matchup on him without giving them the ability to bring help.

All that it would have taken would have been a league memo sent out to all players and a public apology to make it known that it wasn't acceptable. Meanwhile LeBron looks like he is getting cut down like one of the soldiers charging Normandy Beach in an old WWII movie anytime somebody gets within 5 feet of him and it only costs him the occasional $5,000....wow NBA.

It is all about context. Obviously the Pacers are in the ECF against the Miami Heat, and are about to be in a game 7. The attention on the series is far greater than a game 1 against the Denver Nuggets. Also, with Jason Collins and other athletes coming out there is a greater awareness towards gay athletes.

LeBron's flopping has reached San Antonio Spur level of ridiculousness. However, given the media being a bit overly sensitive about gay athletes it is understandable why the NBA would fine Hibbert so much.
