Randomly stumbled upon this.

Show starts off with a red hot 17 minute angle that bleeds into a match that bleeds back into an angle (aka the 'Heyman Special').

Crowd is white hot for the whole thing, and every single person involved, from Joey Styles to 911 to Rey Mysterio to Francine to everybody else, is over. Refreshing to see wrestling where the fans care about everybody.

Also, there is no better TV opening than the classic Nine Inch Nails/White Zombie original ECW opening. 2am, every Saturday night, MSG Network. I would stay up, eyes glued to the TV, VCR ready, and then watch it again the next day with St. Lickem.

Anyway, this dude on DailyMotion, "ExtremeMayhem Video" has apparently uploaded all of those classic 1994-1998 episodes. Not all of it holds up, but there are a ton of gems like the opening angle here.
 
Sometimes you forget:

-How over 911 was with that crowd.
-How crisp and ridiculous Rey Mysterio was. My god.
-The ECW chicks were not hot at all...but who didn't want to fuck them?
-How blatant Paul E was at stealing music...lol.
-I never forgot, but TNA should take note how ECW buries WWF and WCW at every possible spot. "Shane Douglas had injuries...so he went to a less extreme environment and was given the intercontinental title...I guess that is what they do there, give titles." Awesome..."you weren't in purgatory, you were in HELLLLL!"

My first ECW moment was watching a pirated PPV on an illegal black box in my living room. It was the one where Bam Bam Bigelow and Taz broke the ring
