Entourage

While last year wasn't as entertaining as previous ones, I still liked it. I thought the darker season was a nice change of pace. Ready to see what they have in store for us to wrap it up on TV, and of course, I'm also hoping for a feature film.
 
Last season was pretty bad.

They just need to go real big on this last season...the show isn't fun unless everyone is succeeding and having a good time. The show is built off very likable characters...they already did the ground work to like these characters without having to gain sympathy for them and their struggles...which has essentially been the last few seasons. Going back to everyone kicking ass, having fun, fucking bitches, getting big movie deals, making moves, partying, drinkings, partaking in wild shenanigans etc is the way to go out for the final season. It brings it all full circle and it brings back the old likable characters we came to enjoy.

It wasn't so much bad as it was just different with the darker stories.

As long as they do bring it full circle with redemption and all that shit, the finish should be good. But for the final season to mean anything, I guess they felt they wanted to try something different and bring Vince down before he comes back up again.

you cant fully enjoy the highs without experiencing the lows

they should make an ending where vinces career dies, drama finally has big success, E has a happy ending (completes the butt sexz too) and turtle goes back to new york poor. oh and ari loses his wife but gets half her money and brings the nfl team to LA through some miracle :)

The issue is, you were able to fully enjoy the highs with these likable characters. Girls loved them because they were hot and down to earth, dudes loved them because they were cool and down to earth...you didn't need to show their lows to gain their support, they already had a built in support base.

You only pull that trick when you have characters that you need to gain sympathy for to put them over. Entourage did this in the very first season and they needed not to be sympathetic characters (only Drama was the sympathetic character really, and you got his payoff when he finally got on that TV show).
 
Shit. I get a hard on when I see Ari's wife... let alone every other girl in the show. Sloan is just the sweetest icing on a magnificent cake of poontang.
