This is why you don't want to score everything quickly because this happens way to much. You get that emotional ride going to early, and you can't keep it up. You need to grind it out and pop in goals over time.

Plus Fluery doing his best to repeat last season with that last goal. He is just an odd goalie. Some times he looks so calm and collected, and then other times, such as right there, he looks like he is all over the place.

Seems like MAF gets hit every post-season with one of those weird goals that rebounds off the boards.

I'm not worried though. Most picked pens in 5, and knew the Islanders would get one in there. Islanders have always been able to sneak out a win on the Penguins. But can they do that over the course of every game? You can't keep giving up three goals in a period and expect to come out winning.

They have scored 7 even strength goals and 6 power play goals. There power play is rocking and very dangerous, and rightfully so when you have Crosby/Malkin/Kunitz up front and Iginla and Letang on the back end. There even strength is perfectly fine.

Islanders lost in in the last ten minutes of the third. They let up, and sat back to much playing defence. You can't do that against Pittsburgh.

Now we got Ottawa next. I like our chances.

Ottawa is better than the islanders who gave you trouble. Why do you like your chances? Ottawa is a tough team for any opponent. If Pitt has goalie issues again they will lose this round. Ottawa averaging like 2 or less GAA I think.
