Far Cry 4 features drop-in/drop-out “Guns for Hire” Co-Op, meaning that you and a friend can take on the wilds of Kyrat as a pair, exploring the world, taking down enemies and generally making everything as precise or as chaotic as you choose. Both players get experience, both players get in-game cash, and both players have an awesome time.

Better yet, play the game on PS3 or PS4 and you’ll get a set of “Keys to Kyrat”. The keys open up Kyrat’s borders to any of your PSN friends, inviting them into your open world even if they don’t yet have a copy of the game. Capture outposts together, traverse Kyrat and make gains with anybody you know–or everybody you know. It’s a PlayStation exclusive and it means there are no limits to your Far Cry 4 experience.

It's more so the fact that it's titled a "Gameplay" video. Obviously you didn't make create the video so that isn't on you. 90% of E3 are bullshit trailers with really no substance. Then to top it off you have these YT videos labeled as "gameplay".

Since the game was at multiple press events, it was a foregone conclusion that they weren't going to show gameplay at both. Short introduction for Troy Baker's character in one presser, then gameplay in another. I thought it was a nice combination.

Far Cry 4 has a special edition available for pre-order and it contains a 7.9 inch figurine of the game’s antagonist Pagan Min sitting on his elephant throne.

The Kyrat Edition also comes with the Limited Edition contents which spans three single-player missions staring Hurk from Far Cry 3’s DLC and comes with a harpoon gun.

There’s also a 16.5×30 inch Pagan Min propaganda poster included, a Travel Journal, a map of the Himalayan open-world of Kyrat and it’s all housed in a collector’s box.

GameStop has it listed for $129.99 for all formats.

Not really digging that statue. Looks Max Payne 3 statue quality.

Ubisoft has released a good shot of Ajay Ghale, the protagonist of Far Cry 4. Why bother showing the face behind a first-person shooter? Well, as I wrote earlier this week, Ghale represents an important change from who we were in Far Cry 3.

Like many major AAA games, Ubisoft's open-world shooter Far Cry 4 will offer a DLC pass. It will cost $30, and includes a range of diverse content--including a new multiplayer mode and missions that will see you fighting off Yetis--that will keep you busy for "hours," the publisher said today in a post to its official website. A roundup of the content is below.

The Syringe (available on launch day) -- An "exclusive" mission that sees you preventing main antagonist Pagan Min from retrieving a "rare recipe and using it against the rebellion." This mission is playable in Far Cry 4's single-player and co-op modes.

Escape from Durgesh Prion -- Details are light on this mission, with Ubisoft only saying that you will "team up with a friend to escape Yuma's prison after being locked up and tortured."

Hurk Deluxe Pack -- This includes five missions featuring Hurk, a man you may remember from Far Cry 3. Three of these missions are called Yak Farm, Blood Ruby, and Hurk's Redemption. Unfortunately, Ubisoft did not share any further details about these missions or name the other two.

Overrun -- This is a new player-versus-player multiplayer mode where you can play as either the Rakshasa or the Golden Path. Your job is to capture territory around Kyrat while simultaneously stopping the territory from being taken by your enemies.

Valley of the Yetis -- In this content, after you crash land on a Himalayan ridge, you must trek through the frozen landscape, scavenging for tools and upgrades for your campsite. You'll also have to fight off "deadly nighttime attacks from a mysterious cult," Ubisoft says. On top of that, Ajay can explore caves, but "watch out for what lurks within," Ubisoft warns, presumably about Yeti danger. Valley of the Yetis is playable in single-player and co-op.

Ubisoft also did not share pricing information for gamers who want to buy the expansions individually, though the company did say that buying the pass offers a 20 percent savings. The publisher will also offer a $90 Far Cry 4 Gold Edition that comes with the game and the DLC pass.

That does not sound like it's worth $30. Especially since I believe you get the Hurk missions from Best Buy with a pre-order.

It doesn't look any larger than FC3, but FC3 was pretty damn big.
