I played this, and had no idea wtf was going on at first...I kinda figured it out but I played 2 team deathmatches and it was chaos.

And at some point I got turned into a chicken. LOL.

I know it helps to chop down the trees and retrieve metal, but where do you take it specifically in your base? To each hat machine or what?

You can take it to any base that your team owns. Then workers are able to upgrade hats and build catapults and ladders and shit

that's my strategy

worker till the base is fully built
then advanced priest and spam heal/life drain.

if you get good at quickly swapping between classes you can rack up more points than anyone with that class.

There are plenty of other tidbits in the post -- split-screen play isn't planned, ice mage/dark priest exploits will be addressed in a different patch, and so on -- but the most valuable piece of information was a breakdown of how the ranking system works. Although Titan wrote that it "will likely introduce changes in a future patch" to the system seeing as how so many people have written in about it, for now, the system averages your score for the last 10 games and assigns you a rank based on that score.

The breakdown is as follows:

* Squire – 500-599
* Private – 600-699
* Corporal – 700-799
* Sergeant – 800-899
* Ensign – 900-999
* Lieutenant – 1000-1249
* Captain – 1250-1499
* General – 1500-1749
* Warlord – 1750-1999
* Sir (Dame) – 2000-2249
* Baron (Baroness) – 2250-2499
* Earl (Countess) -2500-2999
* Duke (Duchess) – 3000-3499
* Lord (Lady) – 3500-3999
* Prince (Princess) – 4000-4499
* King (Queen) – 4500+

Now, you'll notice that the final seven ranks have female counterparts. That's because if you were to select the female voice option from Get Fabulous, you'd get a special female form. If you're worried about a crashed game crippling your average, Titan said that "Players are also protected by multiple systems, that will not save their score if they have not played for a preset % of the match, if their score is too low or if they are kicked or banned from the game."

The exploits are simply a matter of how scoring is awarded, simply easier to score higher with those two classes. Meh.

I hope they get around to adjusting those points soon, cause acheiving King would be impossible.... I usually am the highest in CTP games, but around 1500-2000 at most...

I was playing a ctp game last night and the other team captured our princess in under 30 seconds 2 games in a row...they would just raid instantly and take us out.

I've mostly been in TDM's though, which is alright too

Ouch...I did have problems at first, but after I got into my first game it all seemed to go smooth.

When I connected to the game that KNUBB was playing in, I got in both times lightning fast but was booted the first time after the both of us were 1-2 in points for the match.

two games in a row i got booted.

simply cause I'm a one man fucking wrecking crew as a dark priest defending the princess.

Just now I had 4K points in a game where nobody else had 2K. I was just holding the fort while my team tried to get our princess.

After about 40 minutes, we finally get the job done and get her close to the castle...but as soon as things got dicey cause they rushed to get theirs back...they boot me.

Fuck this.

Ah ok, cause I know my gf was interested in playing and if I was going to download it I want to be able to play it too lol

I wouldn't think so. There isn't much of a 'campaign'. You just play through the different game modes to get you familiar with the online game. It's single player online.

I think you might be able to play the multiplayer with you and your girl playing with and against a bunch of bots. Or you could do what I did and get your gf/wife her own PS3, game share the game and then both play online.

lol if she played video games as much as i do i would. she doesnt but i know she hates looking at me play all the time so im trying to find a game we can play together but wont bore me at the sametime lol. any suggestions? games like fat princess or RPGs preferably

LittleBigPlanet is probably the best option, that game is really fun and easy to learn. My gf liked it and she really doesn't like video games in general.

You can coop with up to 4 people at once on any level including the user created levels

Great call. I still haven't tried co-op in that game yet though.

Coop adds even more fun and challenge to the game because you ALL have to pass the level, and you can help each other (like when my g/f has to make a long jump I have to wait at the edge and grab her so she will make it because she can't time jumps for shit :uglyhammer:

I just got this today...it's probably the best 15$ I've ever spent. I love playing as the Archer/Rifle type.

I also love using the Archer, I get the most kills as that type. If you see any of those fire barrels make sure to run up to them so you can shoot flaming arrows
