The game I spent the most time playing online, ever, was SOCOM 2. This was pre-MM and nearly cost me my marriage, lol. I would play until 5 or 6 in the morning.

The best I ever got at an online shooter was at RS:V. This is pretty much where I started to really "meet" people I knew online. Maynard, Twigg, jms and goddamned CrimsonGhost with his fucking C4 grenades. There will never be an online game I have as much fun playing as that one

I have a few that are high up there and it's tough for me to choose just one. They are Battlefield 2: Modern Combat (I actually bought it twice, first on Xbox and then on 360 because they promised jets and hit for next gen but it never came to fruition), Halo 2, Bad Company 2, Killzone 3 and Battlefield 3. Rainbow 6 Vegas is up there too. I also have a special affinity for the first GRAW. I just remember thinking that it played like SOCOM but looked 1000 times better.

It's not even close, friend of mine got me into Half-life 2 and it was one of the games that came in the bundle from Steam. Btwn the Community generated maps, fast paced gameplay, n spray painting Angel Eyes's Ass nxt to every victim..it was just pure Fun rolling in with a crew and running shit. Got into map making in that game too, no other shooter ever came close to being as much fun as that game..

I played so much Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament 2 on my PC that my wife was seriously pissed. Of course, she was 25 at the time and needed constant attention. Now she is happy if I am playing a game and she can watch some Lifetime Movie shit on TV without me complaining about it the whole time :yao:

It's gotta be Halo 3 for me, I spent so many hours on that game after school playing with friends or playing at friend's houses. I don't think I've put as much time online in any other game.

A close second is MW2, but it was nothing like the Halo 3 community.

I loved those 1 hour matches in COD3. I could play CTF on that castle map for days at a time.

Yeah, I think there was also a secondary way in that was just off the area where the German flag was.

TFC and TF2 - I loved the Hunted mode in TFC and still don't understand why it hasn't made a comeback.
Rainbow 6: Rogue Spear - I played a ton of the original too, but I found the sequel to be where I hit my stride

Now, I play a bit of TF2 and CS:Go, but my MP skills have deteriorated. Stick a bit closer to single player now
