FIFA 10 Demo Impressions

Not sure about the US but the demo hit the Euro marketplace on XBL today

I will post some impressions in a little

You can play as up to 6 teams with 3minute half lengths plus penalties if you tie

The teams are

Barca , Chelsea , Chicago Fire , Juventus , OM , Bayern Munich

Just played a game with Barcelona and beat Chelsea 1-0

First impressions are ....... it's alot harder to turn quickly thus adding some realism . It's also nearly impossible to get a good shot off with the players weaker foot . Many times I turned with Henry only for him to hit it completly wide cause he was on his left foot .

The Passing is much crisper and nicer . Bad players will randomly hit inaccurate passes compared to good ones .

Sprinting around with one player all day also fails this year , your players get tired REALLY quickly if you hold sprint all day with one player . Basicly the game is more fluent and crisper than last year while elimanting any cheese of last year it seems so far .

Not a huge Fifa player but I do miss playing soccer games. Played WE/PES religiously until it sucked ass on this gen. Haven't really played a soccer in two years. Although I do get in some Fifa games at my brothers and friends houses.

Fifa is really going in the right directions and '10 is no different. I'm gonna give PES one more chance this year. If it's the same garbage, I think I'll actually buy an EA soccer game for the first time in 8 years.

dont even bother man. WE/PES is crap for next gen. Fifa 09 is one of the best games I ever played and I am sure 2010 will be even better. Get fifa so we can ball in some hockey/soccer since madden blows

FIFA just keeps getting better and better. I don't know why I didn't play 09 as much as I should have, but I definitely plan on getting 10 some playing time this year.

Fifa 09 I had about 500 online games played...

Demo came out today, dl'ing it right now and will check it out. I wasn't a huge fan of 09 compared to 08. The gameplay just seemed to be so much more arcade style compared to a more realistic feel in 08. I actually still play 08 online alot, can't stand 09. Hopefully 2010 will impress me more than 09 did because I don't know how much more of the 08 lineups/ratings I can take aha.

Im not into soccer at all but i DL this for shits and giggles and its really a good game, i had alot of fun. Shooting is hard as hell i kept kicking it over the goal or hit the cross bar. I had alot of fun just shooting around in the main menu.

Anyone DL that other soccer game demo? Pela 2010 or something like that?

Im loving 10 so far. Its really really fun. It seems that the improvements are on par for what they did with the previous games. Steady improvement = fantastic football game.

Ill be waitin for ya Calgary Baller, Heels, Blaza and others.

Oh, and the free kicks have been redone too. After I was fouled, i saw my player put the ball down to get on with play, and I was just fuckin around to skip the screen and he took the free kick. I loved it!!!!

Fifa 09 was nowhere near sim.

Fifa 10 however feels alot more sim.The graphics look amazing, so smooth, i noticed the 360 movement right away. Its a sick game. Definant buy for me.

Yea, the 360 movement may be the single greatest thing to ever happen to this game. You have no idea how great it feels to actually have the players doing what YOU want them to! That was always my biggest frustrations with FIFA 08 & 09 (although 09 they made a couple more strides, but it was still frustrating). Now it feels great when you know you're the one that set up the play, passed the ball and take control of the guy you passed it to, take the right angle and just unload a shot into the back of the net. Simply beautiful!

Can't wait for this game!
