Nice to see a bunch of guys on at the same time. We were running things for a while.
I know I only played like two games tonight, but it was much funner than the less than one game I tried to play the other night. Although I'm still not completely sure how the game modes work. I know Conquest is essentially like capture the flag, although I was in the enemies flag at one point and it didn't let me capture it at all.
Also, not sure if my mic was set up correctly but the only person I heard was padman. Do you guys go by squad or team communication?
I have off Saturday so I plan on getting some good gaming time in tomorrow night (Friday) and maybe some late Saturday night gaming depending on what goes down.
The basic premise is that you want your team to hold more flags than the opposition. The more flags your team has, the faster the other team's tickets disappear.
You couldn't cap the flag because there were enemy players in the cap zone. IMO there are two basic conditions that you should pay attention to while trying to cap a flag in Conquest:
1)If the flag isn't moving, there are at least as many opposing players around the flag.
2)If the flag is going in the wrong direction, you're outnumbered.
In both instances, you can try to clear the area or wait for reinforcements. You'll probably want to do the latter if you're by yourself. Also note that how fast you're capping or losing a flag gives you an idea of how many opposing players are in the cap zone.
EDIT: I forgot to mention a glitch that I've noticed. Sometimes the indicator that pops up on your screen can be wrong if you're outnumbered while you're trying to cap a flag where it'll look like it's filling up toward your side, but it changes colors to show it belongs to the other team when it fills up.
So having a line of sight to the physical flag is beneficial, but don't put yourself in the open to do so.
