A more recent game, wonderful adventure game with gorgeous graphics and just oozing with charm. Those that don't game on their PC, I believe it's available on PSN now. If you like the genre, well worth it.
 
I played Machinarium. Really liked it. The little sidescroller minigame that gave you the solution when you got stuck was a nice little feature. :tiptoe:

Fuck me. When I put that up, I had a thought where I was like "I think Steam said pad had played this..." but went with it anyway. Alright, after strike 3, I have to think harder.

I played the hell out of this. Some pretty hard parts IIRC, and the inconsistent squad AI didn't help much during those times.

In keeping with my desire to have game 2 be an adventure game, I'm going with Gemini Rue. Combines some actual actions, the chance to die, and of course, dialogue trees and puzzles. Pretty great voice work too for what was a very small team.

I figure that I might do well in this with my Star Wars and RTS video gaming background. But Force Commander, while having a decent story, was laughably bad, with plenty of model hang-ups and just generally being a pain in the ass. Rebellion was still worse, but SW has yet to put out a decent ground battle RTS. At least Empire at War got the space battles correct.

I fucking HATE that game (sorry to steal your letter). I feel like I fondly remember that Star Wars RTS that was built with the Age of Empires engine, but I could be totally misremembering.
 
I know some of you had to play this but I freaking loved this game. Only game I've played co-op all the way through with a buddy on the same tv.

I figured if anyone played it, it would be you. This game was totally bad though. I had to use codes and spawn extra units to keep winning. I think you are referring to Empire at War, as they had both space and ground battles. That game I have no problems with, and actually really like it- outside of the space battles.
