You're right Swarley, there are so many races and events, its crazy! I'm just now half way through the National B races. I have 4 more then all of the side races (and A license tests).
I haven't even tuned a car yet. Granted, I have been using cars from the anniversary pack when I can.

Yeah I was referring to Forza 3 and 4 since I haven't played 5 yet (Monday!!!).

I've got 54 of 90 stars in B. Now I'm just kind of going around doing different things. I go my A license and IB license and I'm just messing around a bit in those. I've done the first 6 cars for the Goodwood Festival. Did the mission races in B. Going to run a few IB series to unlock IA licensing and then continue on just to unlock everything before I go back.

Also been testing out my SLS AMG GT3 at a bunch of tracks just for fun. I absolutely love that car.

I just tuned up my first car. Bought a '91 Acura NSX. Put new tires and wheels on it, wing, aero package and a few mechanical things. I need to get a new transmission so I can mess around with the gearing to get it how I like, but it's like 18k or so and I don't want to spend the money on it quite yet.

I actually do have one peeve. That is the tire squealing . Its crazy as you're racing but its not that noticeable in a replay.

I actually don't mind that. The better tires you have, the less squeal you get, which is cool. Those lower PP cars that I have that all have sport tires squeal like crazy, but when I'm racing my GT3 cars with racing tires I don't have near as much.

Do you use manual trans? I use the right stick to shift.

In the game menu, under display settings, there is an option for smoothing out the graphics (I can't remember how its worded) . I don't know if it helped but it didn't hurt.


I just turned off the racing line, I was focusing on it way too much. Besides, I like the view without it there.

I haven't done any night racing. There was one I think at dusk, but that was it.

I had to buy my first car for the Japanese race. Money doesn't come easy in this game, that is for sure.

Just got my International A license (again, just skipping around trying to unlock everything atm). Doing a cone slalom in an NSX is not fun at all lol.

Just bought the BMW Z4 GT3. Wow this thing is great to drive. Going to do the GT3 Championship now in IA.

It really comes down to if you enjoy arcade racing/drifting/ramming/crashing on open world roads or sim racing on closed circuits. IMO, Gran Turismo 6 is the much better game, and much better purchase. However, I'm also usually biased towards sim racers, so... But GT6 has a ton of content that will probably keep you playing longer that NFS would.

I may or may not have gotten a chubby when I unlocked IA racing series and I went in there and saw a Super GT GT300 series, Super GT GT500 series, GT3 series and a NASCAR series.

Well, with my newly acquired 20M I bought a handful of GT3 cars, the 2013 DeltaWing, #43 Ford Fusion NASCAR, Formula Gran Turismo, and a couple cars for the two Super GT classes (and I still have quite a bit left).
