I finally played for an hour online today. I am a female character. LOL. I hit start without too much planning. I don't see any option to change my character. That said, I hate that my online character says nothing. Part of the charm of GTA is the dialogue.

Got to level 4 today, got killed by a guy driving a tank ... thought that was kinda cool, to be honest.
