The connection with the coaches is that they all are being considered for the Miami job. Not under the same coaching staff or anything.
 
Thats what I am assuming. Those three are the top 3 candidates for the Miami position, so I think the coach is either someone else who is in the running, or someone who also was a potential Miami candidate at some point(maybe years ago?).
 
My best guess would be Dennis Erickson.

- Pro ties.
- Coached up former Pro Bowlers and a former MVP of the Super Bowl...was influential in the development of some of the league best players.
- Won championships at the highest level of competition.Has won championships in D2
- Former college and pro player.
- Eight different coaching stops.
- Former collegiate All-American.
- Has connections to Edsall, Golden, and Trestman.
