I don't think they are going to have that much choice in the matter. It sounds like Lewandowski is in the same situation as Kagawa and is probably leveraging for a move outside of Germany. He will end up with a big club that will pay him more than double what Dortmund does and I doubt they can reasonably afford to complete against what top Prem and La Liga clubs can offer for wages.

If Lewandowski stars at the Euro's like some are predicting, it will become almost impossible to hang onto him.

But I think M'Vila is going to be a fucking waste of money. Not because he wont be good enough, which i actually think he is, but because his price is going to be driven so high. I think its at least 30 for him. Fuckin market is insane.

And yes, it does suck for Dortmund regarding TRMs post, I hope they can keep people (except fr Kagawa for obvious reasons). But Lewandowski and Hummels already want more money.

The father and manager of Hummels has been invited to Manchester. He states "the wages offered by Dortmund are no where near what we expect".

Lewandowksi's agent:

"I can confirm that the [new contract] offer of Borussia Dortmund is insufficient," Barthel told Bild. "I am also able to confirm an interest of Manchester United in the services of Robert Lewandowski."

Agree all the way around. It sounds like Kagawa will be a relative bargain in terms of transfer fee. I don't think he will be a bargain at all in regard to wages. I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up becoming one of the better-paid played at United. Not quite at Rooney level, but top-level Prem wages. Unless his agent is incompetent, he has a ton of leverage. He is worth a lot of marketing money in Asia, especially to a high-profile club like United. He can also play another year at Dortmund and then walk on a Bosman, where he can pick his club and would typically get a bigger wage packet because the club wouldn't have to pay a transfer fee, so his agent can use that to get a bit better wage, I expect.

And yeah, I have the same feeling on M'Vila. If he has a strong Euro's, the prices definitely goes up. French clubs tend to be able to leverage well when selling, and if they can even make it seem like PSG is interested, the price goes up.

If the media is to be believed, Old Trafford is going to become Dortmund West this summer.

New Barcelona boss Tito Vilanova will turn his attentions to raiding the Premier League if he fails to land Athletic Bilbao defender Javi Martinez.

The Spanish giants have Arsenal's Thomas Vermaelen, Chelsea's David Luiz, who they were linked with earliert this summer, and Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany and on their hit-list if they fail to get Martinez.

Barca want to sign one top-quality defender this summer, and so far Martinez - who can operate in central defence or midfield - is proving to be too expensive.

The news will cause despair among Arsenal fans, who are already dreading the sale of captain Robin van Persie this summer.

Meanwhile, Vermaelen's clubmate Carlos Vela is desperate to join Real Sociedad permanently - but claims the Gunners are driving a hard bargain.

The Mexican forward, 23, spent last season on loan at Real Sociedad and would like to join them, but Arsenal are playing hardball over a fee.

Vela's agent, Eduardo Hernandez, said: "He is very happy at Sociedad, he wants to stay there, but Arsenal are a complicated club to deal with."

France international Olivier Giroud has admitted he cannot wait to finalise his move to Arsenal, with the deal expected to be completed this week.

After his Euro 2012 adventure with France came to an end at the weekend following defeat to Spain, Giroud is now expected in England for a medical with Arsenal.

The Gunners made their move for Giroud a few weeks ago but they have had to wait for the player to complete his international commitments before finalising a deal worth around £12million.

"I am so happy to be signing for Arsenal - it is something that represents so much for me," Giroud is quoted as saying by the Sun.

"I've always dreamed of playing in the Premier League and Arsenal are a great club with many French players."

The club's president Louis Nicollin has said that as far as they are concerned the player has gone.

"I wish him well," he told Midi Libre.

Giroud finished at the top of the Ligue 1 scoring charts last season along with PSG's Nene, after bagging 21-goals.

Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud has ruled out a return to the club for Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh.

The 28-year-old joined the Gunners two years ago from the Ligue 1 outfit but has failed to regularly show the goalscoring form that made him one of the most feared marksmen in France.

Speculation about the Morocco international's future at Arsenal has intensified following the signing of Lukas Podolski and the imminent arrival of Olivier Giroud.

Triaud, however, believes his former stand-out striker will remain in London after previously making enquiries about re-signing Chamakh in the January transfer window.

"It is not worth making things up. I tried to contact him six months ago when the transfer window was open," Triaud told Sport 10.

"Since I crossed paths with him at the Parc des Princes, he was able to tell me he was very happy in London, loved Arsenal and was fine where he was.

"We're talking about things which do not exist."

He needs to show me more. He is obviously a big threat in the air, but missed a lot of easy ones last season. He'll now most likely be the third or fourth choice in that central strikers role.

Have to admit I giggled when I read the complains from Fabregas. I think most Arsenal fans would take him back in a moment - there doesn't seem to be much resentment there.

Personally I always knew he was going to head back to Barcelona at some point. Hoped it would be later than it was. I was pissed at the situation in regard to how the Barca players acted - constant comments to the media and all that fun shit. Then Barca use their leverage to pay as little as possible - understandable to an extent - but then the President of the club comes out afterward and says "Yeah, we should have paid more as he's worth more". Fuck you.

Cazola has been brilliant so far this season. Love the signing him of him and Podolski. Still not entirely sold on Giroud and I still think the side lacks real depth. Nice to see Gervinho finally looking good instead of a waste of space.

Actually been pleasantly surprised with Arse this year so far. Theyre playing alot of older type Arse ball, keeping possesion very well. Everyone knew how Diaby could have been, and so far he looks on his way. Underwhelmed with Ox so far, and the human forehead is so hot and cold. But more hot lately.
