Been pissed KNOWING that the upcoming season will have a MASSIVE amount of bandwagons playing as your favorite team?

I've never really had any of my teams in a real shot to win, and now that I finally do I'm going to try and play a game online just to have people quit because I'm the Heat.

It's happened before, the Patriots when they got Moss, Alabama this year in NCAA, Florida in years past, the Saints and Colts after the Madden roster updates, the list goes on forever of teams that got a bit better, sometimes to a point where nobody even wants to play anybody who selects that team. Has anybody else been a fan who has always used one team and seen them go thru such a radical change, thus making millions of other users use that team?

We all know we need to stick to our NBA Leagues here, we'll be hard pressed to find any random game online against anybody not using the Heat, as far as a video game goes they are absolutely perfect. In real life we will wait and see.
 
yeah being a Hurricane fan I haven't had a super stacked team to play with in NCAA in a few years so I've been using random other teams at times. I think that basketball and hockey games would prob be the most likely to have bandwagon fans playing, with 5 guys on the court you can essentially have 1-2 superstars and dominate in a video game

Luckily being a Notre Dame fan, most people either love them or hate them. So they either get used by a real fan or they dont get touched. Since they havent been the best team in a while, the also probably dont get the play like Florida did last year.

Atleast thats what I tell myself.
 
Always faced this problem with Ohio State. Every mutha fugga uses them online. For NFL and MLB games I roll with Bengals/reds and we know no one uses those bums
 
NCAA I feel has always been centered around a few teams... OSU, USC, and Florida come to mind. (Football this is) And Alabama this year will be overused by everybody.
 
i feel you OOBL, ive played with the Heat every game ive every played online even though the other person i played would always use the Lakers, Cavs, or Suns. its going to be annoying this year seeing people using my team or quitting because im using them, even though im an actual fan.

and lol at the person saying Giants fans are bandwagoners. i dont think ive ever seen anyone use the Giants online besides myself.

It was more fun being a Patriots fan when they got whacked in the Super Bowl by that faggot Favre than it is now. I'm actually going to enjoy this rebuilding/retooling phase they are going through.

I'm sure the Heat bandwagon bullshit will reek so much that I'll actually see basketball jerseys in Toronto.

Miami is a bandwagon city in general, so these bandwagons hopping onto the Heat wagon aren't anything new, it happens for all sports. But, it's going to be really annoying...
 
Mariners- Online gaming wasn't big/didn't exist back in the late 90's and early 2000's so no.

Supersonics- Can't say many people have been using the Sonics lately.

Seahawks- Madden 07 they were used quite a bit because of Alexander and every other amazingly high rated player.
 
Packers usually always have a solid team in Madden but never a cheese/amazing one so they don't get used too much. The Packers are actually one of my least favorite teams to play with lol, they are almost too balanced and I've lost to scrubs like Irish with them. Only good thing is that they were probably the only team the past couple years where using man defense actually worked because Woodson and Harris had sick press/man coverage ratings. I took advantage of this in GGML and RZML which led to some great defensive battles.

I don't like playing basketball games online so people using the Tar Heels never really bothered me.
