ok, i didnt read the entire story, but the part i read is basically saying that online games are full of people talking shit in the form of homo bashing.

but they said this

has anyone ever come across someone who admitted to being gay online? even if someone did say that i highly doubt anyone would believe, or care if he was or not. I dont think people use gay slurs to be mean to gay people.....i think they do just to be mean or talk shit in general.

btw, i noticed this IGN article fails to mention the use of racial slurs. not just against black people, but you hear people talking shit to every other race they come across in games. German, french, canadian, black, white, hillbilly or whatever. Again, its just people talking shit and expressing themselves in a way they would never do in the real world. Gutless and cowardly, Yes!.but stated as a means to harm others....no, not intentionally

also, any lesbian that enters a game doesnt have to worry about being bashed for being gay. She will get an automatic bashing simply for being a woman

I steal Clan Tags like nobodies business. Usually I find the most annoying guy with the douchiest clan tag and steal it. It's pretty fun.

Most of it is just them calling each other a homo or busting balls but it gets really old if you are trying to focus on the game.
