i snipe all the time; especially on Derail, Afghan, and Wasteland.

I don't camp though...gotta keep it movin because the killcam will reveal you to a good enough person.

This isn't Madden. Everyone play to their style. Figure out how to beat the next VSN'er. I don't snipe, but I don't want any pussy rules like those stupid MM/VSN rules about playing Madden. MW2 is balanced enough.

The variety of play that is enabled in this game, makes it fun and challenging. None of the maps can keep you hidden for an extended period of time unlike MW1. In the first game there were spots on each map, except for that small ass one, where you could spend an entire day w/o getting smoked.

Scramblers scramble, snipers snipe. If you cant figure out the heat stay outta the kitchen.

I think this is the first time I have ever disagreed with you on anything.

I forgot the sarcasm tags I wouldn't play with anyone from here if I couldn't "freestyle" cod..., oh and there is a rock on afghan that you can get inside and stay alive, but if you kill someone from there they will know your there and you can just shoot the shit outta the rock and kill em... there are a few spots on every map that you can get into and stay alive but every game has glitches so Im not really sure what my point was...

In short even though I hate campers they are both viable and realistic tactics, campers hold defensive positions and can cover the flanks while the snipers can handle any other sniper and the rushers.

I was spectating a SnD match, and this guy NorwaySniper was unbelievable with the sniper, and he never stopped moving...i really just wanted to watch him the rest of the match haha.

But really you have to be still with the sniper because the aiming is so touchy. And the ACOG scope is worthless, but I heard they were going to patch it. Could just be a rumor though...

Kill, move a little bit, survey area....move...keep moving. It works really well on Wasteland and Derail.

I didn't have any problems with the acog, It took me awhile to get used to it but once you do its way better than the standard scope because it doesn't seem to sway as much, although I tend to get 1 hit kills witht he standard more often than I did with the acog... oh and if snipers bother you so bad learn to flank and stay outta shooting lanes and I gurantee you won't have a problem with them anymore...also cod waw and 4 are full of horrible players right now if anyone is looking for some easy kills...

Serious note, snipers do make hardcore unplayable boring. No matter what map it's just a camping, c4 fest. Most of them can't play for shit (and I'm not any good either, so that makes it worse). They just wait for you to wander into the open (and, nobody ever does because everybody knows where the sniping alleys are) or stumble into the c4. Yawn.

More importantly, I hate those fucking faggots who refuse to play the game mode. It's domination, not sit in the fucking window of the obscure corner of the map and wait for someone to wander into view. It's one thing when they are defending a point (or the flag, bomb site ect..), that's fine. It's the "snipers" who lock down a meaningless portion of the map, fucking over their teammates.

If your sniping to actually, you know, hold a key point on the map that's fine. No issue. That's about 1 in 20. Most "snipers" don't do anything during a game, unless they find a spawn point and get a few cheap kills. Mostly they spend the entire game sitting in a corner waiting for you to wander into view...making my game boring. Especially since they miss and get pissed when you noob tube them off the planet.

1) They make the game unplayable on hardcore because it's a camp fest
2) They don't play the game modes they are in
3) They all stand in the same spots. I kid you not, on derail earlier there were *5* snipers all on that little overhang building (you bash out the window and there's a building extension you can lay on). Why do I care? Because it left me, myself and I against the other team.

Plus, watching a single predator wipe out 5 teammates is an embarrassment.
