I need help running the ball

Do you at least mix up your play calling when playing the CPU??

Of course I do. And I have zero problems passing the ball. I run inside, outside, to the right, to the left, pass, play action. You name it.

That's another point I made earlier in this thread. One thing that really kills me is that I could pass five straight plays and get some great yardage. Then I'll pick a run play and the defense will be all over it. Really?

Sometimes it fells like I'm playing Tecmo Bowl and the CPU picks my play. As soon as I hike it I get blown up in the backfield. And I can't tell you how many times Cutler has been tackled before he even hands the ball off. I mean, give me a fucking break! How often does that happen in the NFL?!?

You should really post like 3 or 4 offensive series of video so we can better be able to see what is going wrong

I tried the "dont ever use the speed burst" tip from here..and it's worked out for me so far.Played a game last night,Falcons-Cards.I had Beanie busting runs all over the place.Ended up with 137 yards,and then Hightower had 73 yards,and LSH had 25.Maybe it was just a one game fluke..butt hats the first time ive had a back rush for over 100 yards in this years game.

It would be good if you could show us clips...but again, what about sliders....whenever some aspect of the game wasn't working right (I'm on old gen though), I'd adjust sliders and bingo! Cpu has too much running game with superman backs, I'd lower the RB ability and bingo, now it's more real. CPU Qb not completing at high enough percentage, boost WR Catch and bingo! I'm gettting too many sacks and sacked too often by the cpu, increase pass block and bingo!

Yes, I kept saying Bingo to be a dick. But seriously is there a slider you can adjust to improve you run blocking or lower the D's break block? I'm at a point where I now give the cpu the advantage in many areas....this from a guy who was playing on Pro for a while in the beginning....try the sliders, I'd be happy to help if you'd like, although I don't have next gen, I have an idea from reading what they should be and what kind of stats you should be getting.

The only way I guess I could do it would be to post "highlights" (or in this case lowlights) on easportsworld.

Like I said before, I've tried sliders to little effect. And I could tweak sliders all I want but that's not going to help me when I'm playing online in a franchise.

To make running almost too easy, do the following...

 

Shift the line's protection to the opposite side that you are running. If you are going left, shift the protection right and vice versa. It works extremely well.

Yup. And that's another thing that really pisses me off. It doesn't seem to matter what difficulty I'm playing on it's the same bullshit.

Ok, I'm convinced that the developers are Bears haters. It's a fucking conspiracy.

So I tried the Falcons and I was running all over with Turner. Now I know Turner is amazing by Forte is a fucking beast too. So then I thought "The Falcons have a really unique playbook. Maybe teh Bears playbook just blows."

So then I started another game using the Bears but with the Falcons playbook. I even tried JHights trick and needless to say...same shit, different day.

The bottom line is that I watch the other teams and they ACTUALLY FUCKING BLOCK. The Bears line blows blocks left and right. They look like zombies. It's absolutely unreal. It's almost like they are programmed differently then the rest of the players in the game.

I dunno Twigg. After watching the first three games of the season, maybe Madden got it right.

The Bears running game is kinda sucktacular.

I was thinking the same thing. I think I even said that in this thread after the second game. Although I find it very hard to believe that they could predict this. I just think it's a coincidence.

While I do think it's pretty accurate I think it's funny that I can still seem to get 200+ yards a game with players like Chris Johnson and Michael Turner at will.
