If you play Pre-Season, who do you give PT & how much?

I just started my "practice" franchise, till I begin my "official" one with opening day rosters.

I like to play preseason games, so that I can get accustomed to my team; the way players run, who are my under rated guys, learn the throwing motions of my QB's. Usually the first game, I take out my starters after the first Q; second game, they get to play till half. The 3rd game, I play them the most (you guessed it...3/4 of the game). 4th and final preseason game, I don't play them at all....I start 2nd string till half and put in 3rd string at half. I try to give rookies and new players (further down in my franchise) the most of playing time (if needed).

As the Broncos I played the Bears in my 3rd game at Invesco Field and beat them 50+ to 3 on All Pro using Marino's Sliders from OS. I put my 2nd string at half because I was up 0-30 and 3rd string in the 4th Q; I also relied heavily in the running game in the 2nd half.

I wish the cpu would do this. I played the Cardinals the next game (the final preseason game) and they had starters play the whole half. Breaston got hurt but luckily it was only for a couple of plays....imagine if it was longer. I usually don't see NFL teams play their starters the final preseason game, so that they can remain healthy and avoid injuries. Needless to say my 2nd/3rd string vs. Cardinals 1st/2nd string got demolished 7-62.

I actually like the way you run your pre-season. Usually I don't play the Pre-Season, but once I start my Franchise Report this year, I plan on playing the pre-season as my "QB Battle" to see whether Stafford or Culpepper is gonna start.

Not gonna lie, after playing 8 games online so far with nothing but the Lions and Stafford starting...guy has been beasting it for me.
