The qb sneak isnt a glitch, lol, in the demo they found a glitch with sneak against a 4 man front and it was patched on release day.

I think you just need 5 lineman, so 4-6 bear should work as well.

QB Sneak was and will always be kind of cheesy.

What's deflating is when you're kicking someone's ass and the game disconnects, giving you your only loss of the '11-'12 season

It was only 7-0 and I got a lot of offence on my only drive.

Dave... I had just had two frustrating losses with the eagles before playing you. I felt my prob was to many 3rd and long situations. I was determined to limit them in my next game. I want take shots down field on my terms, not on a 3rd and 16. That's why I played the way I did. The game was boring, I almost put myself to sleep. Sorry about the qb sneak.

I love the nickel defense the Packers run with the 2-4-5 alignment. It was pretty effective against you but when it looked like you had me on my heels I would throw out the PSYCHO package and it would result in a INT. Good to see that package actually working this year.

I played online last night against the Giants and I was the Rams. Stats, Me over 400 yards of offense, him, 150. Interceptions, me 5, him 1. I lost by a touchdown. I would come out in 5 wide and shotgun sets, but he wouldn't leave is 3-4. So I walked up and down the field on him and just couldnt get the damn TD i needed.

I hate having to go to bed after shit like that.....:rage:

I decided to take Bucs' advice and balanced out my offense/offence significantly today. Three straight wins and a lot fewer INTs.

I am throwing more INTs than Pacman Jones $100 bills at strippers right now. They're so fucking deflating.
Just played Chillout. I had 3:25 of offensive possession time in the game, it was humiliating and boring. He won 23-0 and was gracious enough to kneel instead of trying to make it 30-0 late in the game.
First series of game, I throw an INT (and my heart sank). Next series, same. Then this Chillout runs this methodical (boring) offence, nothing but runs and safe passes (not complaining) and never makes even one mistake. His QB went 13-14 and Foster ran for over 100 yards on 15 carries or so.

The INTs just kill me. Once I thrown the second one, my heart is out of the game.

I could try to run an offence the way Chillout does, which again is very good and efficient (and boring), but I want to run the Andy Reid offence.

Btw Chillout, if you're reading this - BigBucs brought it to our attention that running QB sneak right now is a money play. It's a glitch in the game.
Not complaining that you did it, because most of us don't know that. Just letting you know.

int's are fine. you make a bad pass or a bad read and it gets picked and im fine with that because its real.

whats not fine is when the CPU warps players to the pass or has a LB jump 10 feet in the air to make a pick. thats the kind of thing that is a game killer for me.

im playing the at home as the browns vs the bengals. good close game 13-7 them. i already had one pick that was due to a warping DB who returned it for a TD. I let it go cause the cpu is playing a real good game. They are running it well and playing it like a real nfl team would play it. So i have the ball in the 4th and Hillis really starts kicking some ass. Im running it all over the bengals dee for 4 or 5 yards at a time. I mix in a pass here and there.

Get it down to their 30 and call a single back 3 wide set. I have little on the right with cribs slot right and watson at TE on the right. I used this formation at least 3 times all with running plays. But this time i call pass and they stack their LBs right over the center. The SS floats to the middle deep zone leaving 1 CB and 1 LB to cover my 3 guys on the right. The LB is up over my RG. So i hot route Cribs to run a streak knowing he will at least get a 10 yard gain.

So i snap it and make a 2 step drop and throw a perfect pass to cribs who is wide open. The fucking LB who is hovering over my RG warps 5 yards to the right and leaps as high as they possibly can and picks off the pass. This killed the game. i quit after that which wasted my time and left me with that usual disgusted feeling of why did i buy madden...they fucking got me again.

this is the kind of shit i cant deal with cause it just kills what was otherwise a great, realistic game of football.

Super LBs piss me off - even my own. Moises Fokou made one of those INTs that ticks me off. Moises Fokou has no right making those INTs.

EA needs to introduce universal player edits, where you can edit every linebacker to have 0 jump and 0 catch ratings.

I turned down the CPU defensive reaction time to 15 and also turned down Human block shedding to help the CPU run game inside. I think I put it on 40, dont' remember now.

INT's are at 50 still , this is on All Pro

i been looking at OS for some sliders to check out. if u have a set you are using can u post them?

i played another game last night using updated penalty sliders and moving int down to 30. i also played it at 13 min Q with 20 sec acc clock.

the game was great. very close, competitive and most importantly to me....realistic on the CPU side. i also didnt get hit with any super LB but its probably only cause they didnt have a chance at it.

i only played 1 half but it was a great 1 half (i got tired and went to sleep)

I think that is all I changed , so far anyway. I haven't played many games but I might end up lowering INT. The problem I have with that though is how often the ball hits their hands, and how often they drop it. I mean, if it hits their hands , they should catch it sometimes.

In another thread , Twigg was complaining about a corner that turned and caught the ball, even though his back was to the play. I had this happen last night, the guy was running toward the sideline, I threw the ball and he darted back in, turned around and caught the ball. Mind you, only looking at the ball when it was about 10 feet from him. Which is why I lowered reaction.


I try not to go crazy with sliders any and normally the very first thing I change (lower) is the tackling slider, I mean significantly. But, I haven't touched that this year.

Plus, I never go off of stat totals but stat averages. I dont' care if a RB has 12 yards or 250, but I like his average to be between 2.5 and 5 per carry.

I think the running is the hardest one to get close.


I used to be addicted to slider adjustment, I even used to make some every year at Football-freaks.com but I gave them up when next gen came.

I just want it to look like I'm watching a game, nothing crazy happening, etc
