[PS3] Is Playstation Plus Worth It $18 for 3 Months?

For those of you who have or have had it, is it worth it?

Fuck yeah! I fucking love it. I wouldn't bother with three months though. Just pay the $50 for a year and you actually get 15 months I believe? I've only had it since I think December and it has already paid for itself several times over. You get so many free games and the discounts are awesome too. Getting Stacking for free (a $15 game) and Dead Nation for only $7.50 should speak for itself.

funny, i just bought the 3 month 18 buck deal last night. you will receive discounts on certain games. i picked up dead nation last night for 7.50. next week i will get the year for 50 bucks.

I got the year membership when it came out, and I've more than made up the amount I paid with the content that's offered. You get the monthly episode of Qore and a selection of Minis, PSOne Classics, and PSN games to download at no additional cost every two weeks. There are also discounts on select games.

There also seems to be more PS+ exclusive content coming out in the near future like earlier access to the SOCOM beta.

I actually didn't even die for the first time until the end of level 3 I think? Level 4 is a bitch though. You really need to develop certain strategies at certain points. Especially when you have those fat boomer types that explode and the those Hulk looking ones.

I just finished level 4. Taking the elevator to the top of the building was fucking gnarly. Yeah, that's right, I used a word form the late 80's.:yahootongue:

What's different about Dead Nation from Burn Zombie Burn? I got BZB some months ago and played that a lot.

What's different about Dead Nation from Burn Zombie Burn? I got BZB some months ago and played that a lot.

The graphics and sound are 100 times better, although I understand BZB is going for a completely different cartoony aesthetic.

The game has some semblance of a story and the levels are quite lengthy. There are wepon upgrades and additional weapons that you can purchase.

It's actually more like Zombie Apocalypse than BZB. Although the levels in DN are way longer and more diverse than ZA, whereas ZA is just a few closed off stages.

i have already downloaded 2 free games, since i have added plus. dn was about a 3 dollar discount. so right now i would say, hell yeah, so worth it.

Burn Zombie Burn, if it had online co-op would probably be the best PSN game, but since it doesn't it's just a great game.
