I don't think I did. In the NFL Draft every year you always hear how some teams don't even have certain players on their draft boards for certain reasons.

Doesn't mean they aren't doing their job by not giving them a chance.

The Bears are reportedly using Friday's JaMarcus Russell workout merely to update their emergency list.
Russell isn't going to come out of the workout with a contract. The Bears are reportedly "very pleased" with backups Josh McCown/Matt Blanchard, and are not looking to add a fourth quarterback. Teams are always bringing in street free agents for workouts so they can be ready to pounce in case injuries strike.

Another report said it was merely "information gathering". He won't be signed any time soon.

Saying Russell should be 250 is ridiculous. 267 is perfectly fine. Any more weight shedding and you're just losing weight for no real reason. Seriously... he WAS 265 at LSU. At this point we're just throwing arbitrary numbers out there. 267 is perfectly fine lol...

Who honestly looks at the picture NAHSTE posted and says "wow Russell needs to lose 15-20 more pounds"?
