All depends on a persons point of view.
People have a right to believe in their religion and the guidelines/rules/laws/commandments of their religion. People have a right to voice these opinions, which you just did against religion.
The problem we have is HOW many voice there opinions and not stopping there. We want to push our opinions onto others and expect others to change their opinions to our own. We expect our voice to be heard while trying to stop other voices from being heard. This defines both the PC left and the christian right.
I can very religious, do great things with my life, helping others and be against the gay lifestyle. I can even voice that in a respectful manner. But I can also choose, when a vote comes up about gay marriage, to not vote. I can also be warm, welcoming, friendly and respectful to my gay neighbors. I can go to their wedding, wish them the best in life and be a good friend to them. Unfortunately, this is very rare in our society. We are a society of extremes on both ends.
Me personally, I don't believe in god, but I don't trash talk those that do. As a young man, in between Appts, I stayed with two Lesbian friends.
I know this is VSN, were outrageous is the norm. But you seem as closed as the christian right nut jobs.
