What we honestly need is a petition signed by every gamer stating they will not buy a game with a bunch of random teams, players, skill sets...

Thus showing it won't sell, if your consumer is saying they won't buy it then hopefully these exclusive licenses will go away...

Courts do not have the right to tell private entities how they can use their trademarks. The NFL owns those trade marks and can license however they see fit.

But, this is a Northern California court, so there hope for you socialists yet

Retaliation move by 2K, but at least it was only for 3rd party rights. I was a High Heat fan anyway with the baseball move. And I was a fan of the MLB series back then too.

EA will end up winning this in appeals anyway.

EA is at the top of the football games and no matter what other companies do we will all buy Madden no matter what, at least 85% of us.
I think madden gets better every year and this year I have read a lot good information about madden making the game better.

Either way Im cool with another company making a football.

I just think 2K being able to make NFL games would be really good for EA and 2K. I for one would buy both if I had the necessary funds and their dual existence caused for such competition that both games got better every year.
