Ive been a nuggets fan since 96' when I use to work at the dip n dots counter at old McNichoals arena. Had to do fundraising for middle/high school wrestling...

Anyway long story short I slowly became a bigger Melo fan, don't get me wrong I still love the Nuggets, but after I suffered threw pretty much some of the worst NBA teams ever, and shitty Avalanche (hockey) fans talking shit. I rejoiced at the drafting of Melo and he instantly became my favorite player!

Anyway, a four game sweep isn't happening if the Knicks make the playoffs. Melo and Amare def WILL the Knicks to a respectable 1-4 playoff exit!
 
I don't blame New York fans for being excited, but Denver fans switching teams is ridiculous.
Carmelo Anthony essentially told Denver that your city sucks and he'd rather live somewhere else ... yet you cheer for him?

I could understand it if the Nuggets sucked and the Knicks were elite, but neither is the case.

Any Denver fans who moves over to the Knicks is a fucking embarrassment. Anthony abandoned your great city ... even when the team itself wasn't a failure.

He can use his washed up MTV wife as an excuse, but let's be honest - her future in the entertainment industry is about as bright as Carrot Top's. Hell, Carrot has a nice Vegas gig ... something more than Lala Vasquez will ever have.

Just because I'm Nuggets fan doesn't mean my favorite player has to play for them.

Somebody from the east coast wanting to go back thier and play doesn't mean they hate my city. He actually helped my city and favorite team... I don't know about what you knew about the Nuggets pre 2003, but Melo took a franchise on his shoulders and put the Nuggs back on the map. And for that I will always be greatful!

A real competitor doesn't abandon ship.
The Nuggets are a good team, Denver a great city.
The real competitor says "I am gonna make this team a championship team."
The loser says otherwise.

I don't deny the impact Anthony had on the Nuggets, but IMO he shouldn't just quit on them.

To be fair, Lala's desire to live in NY has nothing to do with her career, it's just that she wants to be live in her hometown. Nothing wrong with that. 'Melo has some ties to the state as well, and definitely is more of an East Coast kind of guy.
