the biggest irritation to this roster is that injured players are simply on the AAA teams.

is there any way that could be changed?

it's kinda weird seeing McGowan and Marcum lighting it up in AAA in my chise.

sure...just load up the roster from the main menu.....go into roster control and change anything you want for any team.....change the 40 mans, call ups and downs....ratings, add music, whatever
i always do that before i start the franchise myself.....

one thing i dont like that knight does is he changes the pitchers pitch type.....that is fine but i notice he will remove the 4 seam FB and replace it with a 2 seamer or whatever, imo, just about every pitcher throws a 4 seamer, so i dont understand why he removes it when a guy still only has 4 total pitches

I know Knight is held in high regard over at OS, and rightly so because no way in hell would I ever take the time to do all of that editing lol...but I want to hear an unbiased opinion

I hate that they put injuries into the rosters as well. They would only work if you could put the injury time as well. It's retarded to start up a chise and have to wait for Cody Ransom to get injured before A-Rod comes back to the big leagues.

The more I read what you guys are saying, I might just roll with SCEA's lastest update, create the Yankees minors and go from there....I could care less about other team's farm systems to be honest lol

Knight doesn't do pitch edits, that razr guy does those. But, I do agree it annoys the hell out of me that he takes the 4 seamer out for a lot of pitchers.

It's not a matter of calling them up or down.....they should be on the DL rather than benched or playing AAA.


I fear that by season's end they'll be pissed they are in the minors or whatever, no? I don't want to use them during the year...

You can't. There's no DL outside of franchise mode, and in franchise mode you can't put someone the DL unless they get injured.

ridins has alot of flaws.....the best thing about knights roster is that it fixes the lineup issue.....u wont see a clean up hitter leading off like u do with sonys rosters.....i also think he did a great job rating players. Despite the removal of the 4 seamer on alot of pitchers, i do think he give an excellent representation of their skill

The call up thing isn't an issue for me. I'll just bring them up. Put them where they should be and play as though they never got hurt. Not really a big deal to me.

Kinda changed my stance on liking these.

I mean really. NO pitchers with a 4 seamer? Sure a couple.. but when you are facing guys with just sliders and cutters it gets annoying as fuck knowing that they had, at one time, a 4 seamer.

I dunno. It doesn't seem that big of a deal to me.

Cutters/Sinkers/etc are all variations off fastballs that (I would assume) were edited that way to better match what the pitcher really throws.

i read today...that version isnt out yet....his stock set is only stock batters....the pitch edits are in and the one without them is due out sometime

I just downloaded the SCEA 4/27 roster update with the stat glitz fixed

Then I duplicated Knight's rosters for the Yankees minors.....now I'm good to go....I don't need the rest of the minors for the other clubs, just as long as I have the Yanks...I rarely get thorugh a whole season of baseball anyway before NCAA & Madden come out
