Yea I like the Dallas pick as well.

But whomever Detroit gets as a coach, he'll use majority of the picks on a O-Line. (If he's smart)

I always do a mock draft just i don't do mine so early. The NFL Draft is in about 4 months. I'll start mine in about 2 months. It'll be cool to compare and see who has more picks correct.

It won't happen, but I wish the Titans would be able to grab Crabtree. I hope Harvin, Maclin, or Heyward-Bey falls into their laps though near the end of the first.

I like thigpen but a lot can happen. Unless they give him a big contract nothings guarenteed, and with herm edwards and his coaching staff on the way out possibly that only increases the chiefs chances for getting a QB. The Chiefs getting a QB is a great possibility but it's way too early to tell.

detroit should get josh mcdaniels to coach, matt cassel, then trade the #1 pick for 2nd and 3rd rounders and a solid player to fix their D and o-lines. Their D is the reason they were so horrible. their O kept them in games sometimes. Stafford wont do a damn thing besides getting knocked on his ass, losing, thuss having no confidence and will make bad decisions. itll be David Carr all over again

2. Chances are that the patriots will franchise tag cassel after hearing that bradys recovery is behind schedule


A franchise always need a QB to build their franchise around. With the right coaches you can avoid the david carr effect. For example look at Matt Ryan. Almost identical situation in atlanta when they approached the off-season. I definitely think they need an offensive coach though.

i think if you dont get josh mcdaniels then you dont go after cassel because i think he can only do well in that system. i just think you can get a lot more help to the core of your franchise with 2nd and 3rd round picks instead of the 1st pick to a QB who has basicly just Calvin Johnson to help him out. Matt Ryan had Turner to lean on and stafford most likely wont.

I think your a bit harsh on cassel with that first sentence.

The lions also have kevin smith at RB and Gosder Cherilus at T. I think it would be smart to use the 1st overall pick on stafford then their other early draft picks on offense, specifically offensive line. Then just get a better defnesive coaches to patch things up a bit because they do have talent on D. I think their situation is extremely similar to atlantas so i would approach it the same way.

Unless we plan on moving laurinitis to OLB it wont happen. We are probably gunna go safety or natural OLB.

I can guarentee you that the Eagles won't take a WR first round. Thats rediculous. At the end of the year Jon Runyan and William Thomas will be free agents and we all know how much andy reid loves his lineman. I wouldn't be surprised to see both picks be lineman. Also someone in the secondary can also be taken. Linebacker is a possibility too. I think the eagles will let go of reggie brown so i can see a receiver taken late in the draft but no way first round.

I don't know if the Chiefs would select Sam Bradford. I personally like Tyler Thigpen and the potential that he has, along with Brodie Croyle (aside from being injury prone). They need to solidify their Offensive Line, Running Game, or Linebackers. Spikes could be a good addition to compliment Derrick Johnson as being two of the most talented Linebackers. I do like the Lions selecting Alphonso Smith in the 2nd round, as he is a very good Corner. He has the potential to sneak up in the late 1st round. I see a few good steals in this mock draft. One of them is Chase Coffman, who is the Tight End out of Missouri. He is a really solid player, in my opinion. I also like Pat White being in that Wildcat system that Miami is running, as he has the ability to throw the ball. All in all, mock draft is pretty accurate, although some things are a little messed up (such as guys that might not go into the draft). Good work, though.

I believe that pat white will be drafted a lot later then 2nd round. probably 4th or 5th round. Plus the dolphins have more needs than to take a receiver who played QB in college and to just play in the wildcat.

Yeah. I don't think he's worthy of that high of a draft pick. I just like him in that system, though.

I can't wait to see pat whites 40 time. I hope he would enter the draft as a QB though instead of a WR like leftwich predicts.

Haha. White is a great athlete. I don't think his 40 time will be nearly as fast as Vick's, but it will be close. White is a pretty good QB, but he doesn't throw the deep ball well at all. His accuracy is there, though, along with the speed. That's the difference between him and Vick: White has accuracy in his throws.

4.4 is pretty damn good for a QB.

I hope so. It will improve his draft value, especially for those teams that may look to try that pesky Wildcat formation.
