Alot of artist who flop with their first CD's(Paul Wall, Katy Perry, Rihanna types....), when they finally do make it big they'll take a song or two from their first CD and put it on the radio and it's a big hit.

I don't know how far this song made it out of Texas so I don't know if you've heard it but Paul Wall, Mike Jones, and Slim Thugs big hit "Still Tippin" was out for like 3 years before it hit the radio and became a big hit.
Same with Paul Walls- Sittin Sidewayz. I heard both of those songs and actually forgot about them until they came on the radio, that's how old they were.

Does anyone else just start rapping random shit to themselves sometimes just because the beat is so sick? I mean I have very little aspiration to be a rapper but sometimes I just get that feel from a beat that I have to give back to it.

Group formed in Boston, but Raashan Ahmad (MC) is from Cali and I think a couple are also from other areas. Their music kind of reminds me of The Roots, as they have a drummer/keyboardist/bassist/etc.
