Brnt wanted me to post mine and maybe get some discussion about them since most of the ODs seem to be having some trouble getting a competitive CPU.
My goal with my sliders are to lose to teams that are better than me, and beat the teams I am better than. I don't want the computer to cheat me either. I have played 4 full seasons of a dynasty, all with Notre Dame. 1 season on a separate test dynasty thing, and 3 on my main one. I played every snap of every game, no super sim at any point and have tried many settings and sliders during that time. And I just now think I have found some good ones.
Heisman Difficulty
-I played on Varsity, AA, and Heisman. I play on Heisman because this year the computer is really dumb. They make poor decisions that can ruin the game on AA. The game really plays great on AA but the little issues with the CPU playcalling(ex. calling a HB screen, 4th and 2 on my 20, down by 3 with 1:30 to go). Heisman isn't crazy physic this year but will penalize you for playing poorly.
7 minutes
-8 through 10 will give you better stats, but I don't like playing the game for an hour or more.
Slow Speed
-Doesn't feel like players slide. And isn't sluggish like very slow.
30 speed threshold
-You will notice the faster players from the slower ones. I haven't messed with this because it doesn't bother me, but some like it at 0 so you can separate the elite speed from great speed. I could care less.
Penalties
Still EA football so penalties are never the best. But these give a fair amount.
Now the sliders: USER/CPU
QB ACC 35/50
-Change this if you want more errant throws.
Pass Blocking 50/50
-Simple enough, if you have too much time in the pocket change it.
WR Catching 60/60
-If you notice an unusual amount of drops after hits or not enough, this is the slider.
RB Ability 50/90
-The skills a RB has. If the CPU averages more than 6 broken tackles a game, I would suggest lowering this. I like the CPU actually having a great running game though. If it forces you to commit to stopping the run, it will help the CPU play better at the passing game without going Robo.
Run Blocking 30/55
-How good are the holes to run thru? If you have issues with the CPU running game being too dominant lower this first before RB ability.
Pass Coverage 30/60
-User will have to manually swat a lot of passes in order to be successful on this. So don't just sit and watch.
Pass Rush 10/50
-This one is hard to get right. The ends will hardly get much pressure but the DTs will dominate. I just had Stephon Tuitt get 10 sacks this season on this setting, but he is a monster.:smug:
Interceptions 25/35
-This helps lower crazy jumps by the CPU and really makes sure the user is in good position for a pick in order to get it. Learn the passing lanes on every route.
Rush Defense 10/85
-How quick the defenders will read run and react, and break off the blocks. I was fine with this.
Tackling 40/50
-Seems pretty standard.
Kicking Sliders
-Don't need much discussion. Should know how these work.

Tips-I run a spread offense, with little to no option. So while these do run fine out of the spread, the option game is a little tougher. Pro offenses will probably have the most success(CPU and User) and option teams will struggle some.
I control the FS every play. For run plays I am usually the one that has to blow them up. With the CPU run blocking beefed up and RB ability beefed up, being able to maneuver around blocks and get to the ball carrier is very important. If you are a defensive line guy, I can imagine these being frustrating.
These sliders are not cheese proof and I don't know how forgiving they are with lower ranked teams. I have only played with ND who are rated around an A every year, so they stack up with just about every team in the game.
