I'm sure it was insane here by my house. One of the biggest universities in the state is about 2 miles away which means college guys blowing off classes today so they could play all night. I opted to just wait until lunch today and I'll ride over to Best Buy with no line and pick up my copy.

Same i live a few miles from the biggest school enrollment wise in the state, so i just went to best buy the next day and walked in with no hassle. F waiting at midnight with hundreds of people.

Funny because most of these people have only been fans of the series for like 3 years. I've bought every version since the original CoD and I don't even have interest in this new one. They need to just remake CoD2 and kill the series ASAP.

Sadly I didn't even know this was due out today. Barring amazing reviews, I'll likely stick with Bad Company 2.

However last week I was pretty upset and shocked at the fagdom for GoldeEye Wii. I figured I could stop in just about anywhere after work on release date and easily snag a copy. Shit was sold out everywhere.

GoldenEye for the N64 was just about the biggest game on that platform so not a huge shock on that one being sold out when it came out for the Wii.

Yeah after the fact, I figured the same thing myself.

I guess I just didn't prepare at all for it to sell so well. Plus, I figure most kids who owned a n64 are now at least in their late teens or twenties. I figured at that age, most would move away from the Wii toward a more mature 360 or PS3.

Either way, I fucked up and was wrong and remain Goldeneye-less

How's that for gayness? 2 stores robbed at gunpoint for the inventory on hand. Not where I live, but near where I work. Stores are about 20 minutes from each other. of course, the robbers were black. So it was a true "Black Ops" campaign

I don't have all the details but apparently one of the suspects was arrested in my district yesterday. The fucking idiot was selling the copies of the game out of the trunk of his car.

And on a related note, a buddy of mine who works as loss prevention sent me a picture of two idiots camping outside of a nearby Gamestop at 5:30pm. It's not like the store isn't going to get hundreds of copies you fucking morons.

I remember going to like 5 or 6 different stores looking for the N64 game with a buddy when I was a kid and we got lucky and snagged the second last copy at a toysrus after 3 weeks of searching every weekend.

I remember it cost like $120 to lol.

I got my copy at Blockbuster on my way home from work. I rented it to beat the SP campaign and move on.

There are many better games coming in the next few months....

That's probably what I will end up doing. After playing MP for about an hour this morning I was reminded of how much I hate these games online.

Between my lack of twitch skill, my lack of luck (nothing like an enemy running into a room with you and four other guys and of course he targets and kills me), getting shot in the back constantly, and the complete bullshit (shooting half a clip into a guy only to have him return fire while I'm behind a thick ewall and somehow kill me) the frustration far outweighs the fun.

Anyways, I was at the MW2 midnight release and it was a freaking circus. Noone knew where the line began or ended, but luckily the gamestop employees got it pretty organized and it actually went pretty quick and smooth.

I will never forget waiting in line with at least a hundred people in front of me, watching these douchebags running out of the store with their copy and roasting the tires out of the parking lot so they could get home to play it.

I went to the Halo Reach one, I laughed at the kids who got their copy first then drove by the line holding it out the window showing it off....congrats you got the game 5 minutes before I did, whoopee haha
