Rankings and who is the best are 2 different things, rankings are just where they are off past wins, Rogers hasnt fought and a lot of guys underneath him havent either, been a slow couple months for the heavys

Once Sergei, AA, Aleks, etc... get some wins they will jump Rogers, Cole Konrad will probably be right in there with a win over Grove

Big Tim still has some very solid wins on his record, can't completely toss a guy because of a bad loss

Also, its not a 'gimmick', I feel the rankings should be seperated

I think its a nice touch.

Lawler is 1-0 in the past two years at middleweight. #4?

Lightweight's the deepest, followed by the middleweight division (even if Leites is overrated).

Woodley at #3? The guy is an awesome prospect but right now...#3?

I'd say the heavyweight and welterweight divisions are thinnest (265 is barely put together). 205 is just bleh beyond Rafael, Mousasi and Mo.

I'm projecting with Woodley I guess, I think he blasts Galvao, say what you want about the win and the decision, Nathan Coy is no joke and will give the majority of fighters a great fight, he is a not stop grinder

HW is actually deep, it's just no one has been fighting lately, so the rankings are some what dated

Once these guys start fighting you will see a ton of movement in the rankings

I fixed the Heavyweight division for you to include Zuffa fighters using a sophisticated gimmick... er... I mean rating system combined with Empire's rankings.

Anyone else think this is a silly ranking system? It is like saying "Here are the best soccer teams in the World... but I don't count English Premeir League teams".

The guys who are saying I’m segregating or this is stupid to have the rankings like this are missing the boat IMO

First off, who has done more to segregate MMA more than Zuffa? Please answer that question and get back to me, a bonus question would be who has done more to destroy other MMA promotions more than Zuffa? If you can answer those question than you see where I am coming from

I believe the rankings should be separate because Zuffa has separated themselves from the rest of the MMA world, it was not me who did it, it is them

If you go to every other site that has rankings, you will see it is dominated by Zuffa fighters, not to say those guys don’t belong there because there are some great fighters who fight for ZUffa, but the bias it so strong that it keeps a lot of fighters who are great out of the spotlight, it actually hurts the overall picture of MMA

Just look at the new USA Today/BE rankings, guess who is still the number 2 ranked LW? BJ Penn, amazing

If anything, my rankings elevate MMA is a whole, it recognizes fighters that would not normally get any attention, just look at the next MFC, Ryan Jimmo vs Glover Teixeira for the MFC LHW Title, most people would go, ‘who?’ Or, ‘that’s a good fight’ and leave it at that, now you look at my rankings and it makes you think and appreciate that these two guys are fighting and this is a good fight

Rankings like this do not take away from any fighter under the banner at all because you can go to every website and look at their rankings and see it filled with Zuffa fighters, so my rankings do not hurt anyone under the Zuffa banner, but it actually elevates MMA as a whole

Zuffa is the promotion that operates in a bubble, so there rankings should be separate from the rest of the MMA world
