Well the front runner would have to be the Shephard. he crossed out locke so does that mean he is officialy dead. Sawyer made his choice, so then you have hugo, jack, sayid and sun/jin. wonder if both jin and sun are candidates making it an even 6 .

Another stinker of an episode. It was slightly better then last weeks, but the show just seems off to me. It picked up a bit at the end with the candidate business, but I'm disappointed with the last couple of episodes.

42- Jin or Sun, maybe both

So that means even though Jacob touched Kate, she isn't a candidate to take over seeing as she hasn't been assigned a number.

That's odd. I have found the season pretty good so far. Confusing as usual, but good.

Of course they'll never, ever match season 1 for quality. Just can't be done.

If the fake Locke is to be believed and Jacob wants someone to take over for him, I'd say the Kwon is Jin and not Sun.

Yes, Locke is dead on the island. Whenever you see Locke, remember it is only him if it's a "flash sideways." Otherwise, it's the smoke monster/man in black.

I'd assume Jack is the ultimate candidate but we'll see what crazy shit goes down next week.

Ive been liking the season so far. They are not going to throw everything at you and you cant expect to ONLY answer questions instead of raising a few more. I liken LOST to reading a book. Its one chapter after the next. Not like other TV shows where you can watch any episode and be perfectly fine. With Lost you gotta start from the beginning (same with a book) a maybe even sometimes read/watch a chapter over again to catch some of the stuff you missed. This show is a highly intellectual show with a whole bunch of references to old movies and books. And one would be smart to believe that they have been leaving and dropping some clues all along from the start (as the producers have said).

I got that but why does the island need a protector? What would they be protecting it from? And im pretty sure Jacob wasnt dead when he recruited them at a very young age. Can Jacob see the future?

yeah i don't get why Lockes alternate universe is so much different than everyone else.

as far as last weeks episode sucking its because it was a kate episode, they always suck.
