I dont know if it was pressure or just he was given too much control. But Shamalyanahahns movies are always good on paper , on the verge of being really really good but just fall short and too often were just bad.
Sixth Sense I loved , Signs was very good. Unbreakable was good. Village and The wahlberg one were tolerable.

Hes the Big Daddy Wilkinson of directors. You cant really call him a bust but never came close to the hype.

i walked out on the village and got bored very quickly with that wahlberg one. i really like signs....good flick.

The Sony Pictures press release refers to the film as “an untitled sci-fi adventure” but, last year, Shyamalan had been calling it One Thousand A.E. That title fits with the current description, which says that, one thousand years after Earth has been abandoned, a young boy and his father return to the now frightening planet after their spaceship crashes. The script was co-written by Shyamalan and Gary Whitta (The Book of Eli).

Lady in the Water or whatever its called goes on my list of worst movies of all time. He needs to get off the crazy plot twist shit, it worked the first 3 times but after that... ugh.

I've liked a lot of Will's recent movies like Seven Pounds, Pursuit Of Happiness, I Am Legend, and even Hitch.

Seven Pounds was way back in '08 and Will's next movie doesn't come out till next year.

Maybe not alot for an average actor but that's a long time for someone who went 13 consecutive years with atleast 1 movie releasing.

i know that, im just saying to say Will Smith hasn't made a decent movie in a minute you have to be talking about his more recent movies. Because a movie can't be less than decent if he hasn't made any movies as an actor in a minute.
