Any decent player is just going to control the up man every time, wait for the onside, if it's not there just click back to the returner. Big whoop. Not like the up man needs to be in place to block since special teams are a disaster....

I'd expect another minimal year from Madden, new shell of franchise mode lacking most of what you want. They just are just going to string people along with that mode.

They've already said the new Franchise mode coming this year is going to be a 4 year plan.

They are going to bleed people dry with this shit. You are going to pay for the mode for 4 years. Just wait for Madden 16 to get the completed product.

lol... by putting a limit on it they themselves know it will be explioted. if your gonna put it in then just put it in. they dont limit the amount of pa passes you can do or qb sneaks.

I just hope you can play actual defense this year. You know, like get three and outs and just legitimately shut down a team. Instead of only being able to user pick and force fumbles as a way to play defense.

I'm a big fan of offline franchise and now hearing it is a 4 year plan is really blowing me. Next Gen Madden has really disappointed me... why the fuck do i keep putting myself through this shit.

I've gone 5 years in a row now without buying it new and really I see no reason to jump out and get it this year.

I'm still pissed I caved and wasted $40 on the two used copies I bought a couple years ago to see if it was worth it yet.

That's the only way to go, if you must play, don't contribute to EA's figures. This shit needs to change, they need to cut the bullshit.

I wonder how much adembroski's hiring had to do with winning over online communities. That guy has the whole "Ian is a fucking god man!" "Madden is amazing, you just don't get it" routine down pat.

That's probably their biggest problem, they are all in love with their job/game so much they refuse/fail to see what we get so pissed off about.

Yah that was the whole point of me buying them used. I wanted to try them out but not give any money or contribute to EA's games sold numbers.

The whole madden fanboy shit is pretty hilarious. I'm surprised at how people almost seem to cave and throw blinders on once money is thrown their way. I would think if you were to get hired by EA you'd try and be more productive with games instead of being a poster boy drone for them.

I feel the same way. I've always wanted a great franchise mode but this 4 year crap is ridiculous. Two things I hope they address is player progression and making it harder to become a good team. Player progression is retarded because once a guy has B or A potential, he's set. A QB with A potential could throw 3 tds and 30 picks in his first year, yet would probably go up 5 overall points. Or on the opposite end, a guy with C potential could throw 30 tds and 3 picks yet barely improve. It needs to be more statistically based.

Also some form of player morale would be nice and make drafting more difficult.
