It's not the point I was making. People clamor for a separate "franchise mode", which is utterly moronic. This mode replaced franchise mode, yes it lacked in "franchise mode" features in the first offering but I don't think anyone needed to write a "wish list" to make these features come back.

I'm sure EA investing heavily into CCM, only to undermine it with a separate franchise mode 3 years later was something a logical person would be thinking.

As far as hot dog prices, I'd like to see much deeper financials. MVP2005 had some great financials for it's day. It wasn't just setting a hot dog price, it was setting a crap load of vendor prices, food, beverage, advertising, ticket, stadium upgrades that really meant something, and different gift shop items. Plus you paid to have X number of these things. X number of soda, beer, popcorn, ice cream, etc vendors. X number of vendor stands in the stadium. Madden's financials was always shit compared to MVP2005, or what The Show had last year (I don't have this years The Show).

And PLEASE get rid of that Fing arcade progression system and put in a realistic model of progression. Yeah, I am still pissed at EA/Tib. Almost an entire console gen of sub par NFL Football.

For instance, in this year's draft, it goes Draft #11 Key Players (which all have set attributes) along with random recruits, then it goes Draft #12 Key Players along with random recruits the following year, then Draft #13 and so on.

I would like it to be random recruits every time (maybe with some players with random names that get stories and the like, but names are random every time). This way people aren't using cheat sheets during the draft.

CC...well not CF? Whatever... is merely laying it's foundation and will be the mode for all of next gen. They've made as much clear. I don't need to play the angry forum dork "I need to see it" card to know this sort of features is going to come. What are they going to do nothing with this mode for a decade? C'mon.

What EA has said, is that they needed to rebuild the foundation of this mode...guess what? They did. They've "shown you" that those words are what they meant. Be realistic, what is CC so far? A foundation of a new franchise mode. Yes previous "deeper" features of the mode aren't there....yet, but the ones that are, are improved from before are they not?

• They had the Tony Bruno show before...now they've given us Twitter stuff...which is an improvement. Twitter commentary is repetitive, but the ability to get game updates outside the actual game, is very useful.
• Draft classes are better than they've ever been, with storylines and all that jazz. There's a bit of actual randomization which we've also never had.
• Coach firings and goals and XP? Never had this before.
• Player negotiations have never been this well done. I wish they asked for more guaranteed money in some cases, but again, never been as good.
• Salary cap used to skyrocket by 10-20M a season making it pointless, now it properly adjusts on a per league basis. Every league gets their own value based on how it's going. Is that not cool?
• I can advance the league from my cellphone.
• Autopilot? Never had that before, used to have to do the whole "boot/invite/reinvite" annoying process.
• XP system and Goals? (i.e. performance incentives) (I know you hate it, I have gripes with it too, but there's many positives to the system which you cannot refute. It's not all bad, but I'm sure you'll say otherwise)
• Scouting system? How is it not better now?

I could go on. I'm not saying all these things are amazing, but they are without a doubt better than what the previous franchise mode gave us. They said they'd do it, they didn't lie.

As for the only thing you're asking for here, is the stupid values within owner mode that was complete shit before. You are mad cause a shit feature from the old mode isn't here? Really? It was there, but it was a shitty waste of time and meant very little. I get being pissed about no mini camp drills or whatever, but that shit? Come on.

There's alot about this mode that pisses me the fuck off, lots I wish was different, but they said they'd throw down the foundation of a new mode for it and started with the basics....they delivered that. The basics in many cases are vastly superior to what we had before. If you stop ranting on OS with the other mindless Madden haters for just a moment and look at the game without anti-EA bias, you would see that truth.

Why don't you wait until they announce what's coming in the 2nd version of this mode before you ask for them to tear it all down again? We asked them to rebuild the shit from scratch, they did, now you want them to scrap it and give us back the old one? I follow you, I do want them to find a way to ensure cheat sheets no longer are viable. I'm hopeful since NCAA draft classes just missed out (according to EA), that they are in this year and it provides that kind of functionality.

Why they cannot just make a system up where you have a set of sliders for players where you have area's you want them to work on is beyond me. Wr's that need better catching then focus on that. Your player is slow then have them work on that. It's what they do in real life. If they really want to throw a realism wrench into the mix throw a "off the field attitude or IQ" stat into there instead of the retarded production level bs they have now.

You don't cap out XP you just hit the game specific goal. Where it matters is in situations where guys are trying to get their rookie WR that 60 or 70 yard recieving in one game goal and if they hit it they immediatly bench or ignore that player in favour of getting another wr the same goal. Or my personal fav which I seen a good amount of times was players in a first and goal situation swap out RBs (in one game a QB) solely for the purpose of getting their other RB a quick 500 points with a TD. They are doing things for XP reasons and not to win games which imo is a problem in leagues where people are trying to play as "sim". You can argue go ahead and let those guys do that while you go for the win but thats not the point. The system is really bad and just doesn't seem that well thought out then again I've been arguing for years (in all sports games) that additional player attributes should be gained by time and on field expierence and not just use stats as a way to gauge whether or not a player gains more attributes

XP to raise a useless attribute, such as speed for an OL, is at the minimum 1300 points. If you want to raise his run blocking, and he is fairly decent, you are looking at 2500 points min.
