Madden NFL 13 Title Update #3 is now available

It looks like the ability to change offensive and defensive schemes for coaches is only part of Offline CCM in the patch that launched today. It appears to be coming on Friday 10/19 for Online CCM

Hey Playmakers I remember you from OS I learned a lot from you man. Unfortunately I don't have a 360 I have a PS3, so I haev never been able to use any of your classic rosters .

Edit: I also wanted to ask if the player editing is limited to number changes and equipment, or can we edit ratings also for offline CC? Sorry if this has been asked and answered.

They broke the schemes again :facepalm: I can change offensive and defensive schemes but it doesnt ever take effect and resets as soon as I exit

3 out of my first 4 drives post patch ended in fumbles. Dont know if that has to do with what was in the patch or if I was just unlucky. A FG with high winds to the right hooked to the left which I didnt understand at all. It was a 55 yarder... wind apparently has no effect on the ball at all. And I was having a hard time getting the "Y" button to work. Id be spying or whatever ball would be thrown right near me and Id press Y and nothing... happened like 4 times and on offense too. Guy got hit right in the facemask and he was facing in the direction of the QB the whole time then Simms talks about how he ran a great route and the QB just couldnt get it to him... thought commentary was supposed to be smarter too?

Other than that everythings been ok.

like most Developers; they see stuff they wanted to fix, modify or address before the live Product go out.
so they go ahead and do it when they have the chance.

So I started a new offline chise today after the update went online and I'm pretty sure that the captain patch is glitched. Players who are team captains don't have the patch, while players who aren't team captains all have patches. lol

It's become a running joke that an EA patch will break something else, but, with Madden 13 and the complaints from the community...I would have thought EA would have released a patch that didn't fuck the game up even more. It really is like they just don't give a shit.

What did they mess up? I've played about 4 ccm games since it came out and haven't noticed anything

Everything they fixed in the first 2 patches is now broken including schemes

broken lol. I don't understand. Who tests the patches and why do they still have a job? Anyways as for the FG and wind.. i noticed this my first game in M13 this year. I had 15mph wind blowing one way and i adjusted my kick and it hooked the other way. made no sense.

I read that there is a glitch with wind where it is opposite what the indicator says. So if it's pointing right, that means left. Thus, if you go left to adjust for wind you thought was right, it's just going to go further left

IMO I hadn't noticed anything crazy. But then again I was gettin my ass kicked. So maybe the game is broken :shifty:

All Madden is now 10x hard as it was before the patch. DBs and LBs catch any pass in the area. Their run game getting into the red zone is unstoppable but inside the 20, they run pretty much all run plays, get stopped and settle for FGs.

Same game over and over.

Wind is completly broken online as far as I can tell.

Was kicking balls through the endzone last night with Birona's and a 10 wind coming at me.

You must not notice a lot.

At this point from what I can tell from the 4 or 5 ccm games I've played:

- Defensive AI is fucked specifically cb's and safeties and there seems like a solid 50/50 chance you taking control of any of those players for a user int or swat will result in nothing. I've also seen the defensive pursuit on people with the balls can really be ass backwards.

- Wind is fucked up. Might as well pray for no wind or dome games.

- WRs appear to catch more balls although I'm finding my own personal ability to not throw utterly retarded passes is getting better as more games are played so hard to say if its the patch or me not throwing into stupid coverage anymore.

Wind I've noticed, everything else I haven't, and I switch to a cb or safety whenever the ball is in the air. Swat has been temperamental since the game came out, it only triggers when you're in a certain position.

Another 3 games for me and another 3 games where hitting the Y button does nothing.

Y button works fine for me. Though this patch does seem to have fucked up text notifications. I'm not getting them every advance now.
