I wish the Heat had kept him. But nope, we traded him for two 2nd-round picks in which one we drafted Patrick Beverly with who is now overseas playing ball.
We could've used Thornton as trade bait in the worst scenario. I always cry when I see him play and his stats knowing that he was once in the possession of the Heat

I prayed that they drafted him in the 1st round. I knew how capable a scorer he was. I wasn't disappointed with Collison pick, but was jumping for joy when they made that trade
