Apparantly they don't know how to do basic math then.
I hear ya. But, like I said in one of my main examples, go ahead and figure out the price of the L4D DLC. 540 points?!? And then what about 240 pints for some stupid avatar clothing or something. $3, right? But no one should have tyo break out a calculator to figure that shit out. Sure things that are 400/800/1200 points are easy to figure out but a lot of other shit is a pain in the dick.
And then there of course is the problem that you are always left with points forcing you to buy more. What if my 360 breaks (again) today and I just say fuck it. I'm left with 500 points that I couldn't buy dick with. Now does that matter to someone like me? Not really. But what about the person that scraped up every last dollar to buy a 360 and then decided to, god forbid, buy some points to download Rock Band songs. It's a joke.
And for all the people that keep saying "Well Xbox Live is a worldwide thing, blah blah blah." Did you fucking read the article?
"He goes on to explain "no matter if you're on the yen or the euro or the dollar — something that's 200 points is 200 points everywhere around the world",
which apparently makes things easier on Microsoft. Except...the points themselves don't cost the same from region to region, undermining that uniformity."
Easier on M$ but fuck the consumer. And I love how so many people are "You're a fucking retard. Its a universal system!" Well then why isn't Nintendo and Sony doing the same thing? Yeah Nintendo uses points but at least they are the exact equivalent.
And
AGAIN, why are the Games on Deman priced in U.S. dollars?!? Where the fuck is the uniformity? You know why? Because then they would have to say a game like Burnout would cost 3600 points or some shit and
retardswould think "Umm, der, that sounds like a bunch uh money Cletus. I think I'll go down to da Gamestop and get me dat game der instead."
