The Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings and New York Knicks have agreed to terms that will expand the Houston-Sacramento deal into a three-way trade that lands Tracy McGrady with the Knicks, according to NBA front-office sources.

The Knicks will acquire McGrady and Sergio Rodriguez from Sacramento, sources said.

The Rockets get Kevin Martin, Jordan Hill and Jared Jeffries from New York and will have the right to swap first-round picks with New York in 2011 as well as take on New York's 2012 first-round pick.

Sacramento obtains Houston's Carl Landry and Joey Dorsey and New York's Larry Hughes.

Sacramento, CA (Sports Network) - The New York Knicks, Sacramento Kings and Houston Rockets have reportedly agreed to terms on a deal that will see McGrady wind up in the Big Apple.

The deal, being reported by ESPN.com, also has point guard Sergio Rodriguez heading to New York.

Houston will get guard Kevin Martin from Sacramento and forwards Jordan Hill and Jared Jeffries from New York and will also have the right to swap first- round picks in 2011 with the Knicks in addition to a take on New York's 2012 first-round pick.

Sacramento acquires forwards Carl Landry and Joey Dorsey from Houston along with guard Larry Hughes from New York.

I don't blame the Kings for trading Martin. He's really not the kind of player that you want to be building around. Not to mention I can't see him and Evans working all that well

Martin would/will be great for a contender if they have a PG who can get him the ball. That guy can knock down shots and get the FT line with ease. He doesn't offer anything passing wise or on the defensive end though

Martin has really struggled since coming back from his injury and hasn't shot the basketball nearly as well as before..I hope it was just rust (for his sake) but it really had me worried. He was missing FT's that he would normally hit in his sleep.

As long as Martin is the third best player on your team he can be a good contributor..he is just not mentally tough enough to be a leader and really struggled with Evans this year.

I did think it was funny today on the radio they mentioned that the last home game of the season is Rockets @ Kings and he said "I hope I'm playing and not injured" or something to that effect..the dude is injury prone and I hope the best for him and the Rockets.

All depends how good the Knicks are in the next two years. If the Cavs do win it this year, I don't see James leaving his boys (from the hood) in Cleveland. I see Wade also staying in Miami, so the Rockets might come out very good when it comes to draft picks. Also nobody wants Jefferies but in order for the Rockets to get a scorer they had to give up a potential player in Landry (with his own health issues) and a bad contract (Jefferies). Houston wasn't going to land a big time FA in the offseason, so I think they made the best move.
