In response to the first paragraph .. after we won the super bowl I went to the dome after the parade, a bunch of players spoke .. they literally had to push Marvin to the mic and he uttered about 3 words before he stopped. You could tell he was extremely shy and nervous about it.

I said it in another thread, unrelated to this as an analogy, but Harrison is BELOVED in the area too. Sure, he had a guy killed for snitching, but most people here would just shrug their shoulders and say "He shouldn't have snitched" (I am seriously not kidding, I've heard more than one person say that).
