First off, your whole argument is based off of me calling you a dumbass and saying you pulled shit out of your ass about a Cabrera trade. My whole argument about pulling shit out of your ass was about saying ESPN writers make up rumors because they want to, but only for LA, Boston, and NY. Anyways, let's get this started.
Is this a joke? How are you going to sit there and say those things in the bold, then follow it up like that? You're telling me I know nothing about the Tigers and how they are run, but YOU do?
I never once said you have no idea about the Tigers. I said stop pulling bullshit out of your ass about thinking ESPN is making up rumors because they want their favorite teams to be better.
So if the Tigers underperformed again, are they going to unload Ordonez, Guillen, proven hitters who can help a contender, or a 26 year old slugger who they locked up 8 years?
Never said that they should, but the chances of it were not 0% if they Tigers were cellar dwellers again. With the extra pitching the Sox had, I'm pretty sure they could have put together an ok deal for the Tigers. There's never a GREAT deal when a superstar is involved. The Manny deal has worked out, but originally everyone thought the Sox took a huge offensive hit (which they have a little bit, but not much, comparing Manny's 2007 stats to Bay's 2009 stats).
The Tigers emptied their whole farm system for Cabrera, then signed him 8 years, you think they are going to turn him around in less than 2 years? ''Don't flatter yourself by thinking you've got it down pat''. You clearly dont know Mike Illitch there. ''dont pull shit out of your ass''.
Dumb fuck. I'm not even going to comment on this. I said it above, you like to place random quotes by people out of place so it seems like you've got the advantage.
Your contradict yourself more than Miami Flash. So the Tigers, a team with great young pieces in Verlander, Granderson, jackson, and Porcello, are going to trade Cabrera of all people to rebuild? Huh? Look at what your saying. Say Ordonez was being old Ordonez, and Guillen stayed heathy, when you look to rebuild mid season you trade veterans to contenders, ala Magglio and Guillen or Polanco. But you think they would dump Cabrera, you are so god damn ignorant!
I never said they WOULD trade Cabrera, but once again, I said it wasn't completely, absolutely going to happen.
So a team filled with talented young arms, a young franchise hitter, and quality veterans are going to REBUILD by trading the young players and keeping the old veterans?
We never discussed other trades they could have made. I never said they wouldn't trade anyone else.
You clearly have no idea what you say. And I thought Flash contradicted himself. With what you just said, I'm curious as to what you could do with a MLB team. Comedy right there.
YOU dont know a thing about managing a team, or rebuilding a team.
Really dude, a team with great young pieces in place with 3 quality veterans are to trade the Young kids? And rebuild with 30 somethings? Thats the recipe for success right there.
So if Boston was struggling, you'd trade Pedroia, Ellsbury, and Bay? And keep Martinez, Varitek, Lowell? Rebuild with them? Thats basically what you're saying.
First, Pedroia, Ellsbury, and Bay do not have huge contracts, by the way. Loweel and Varitek are the ones with the bigger contracts. That was not what I was saying at all.
Where do I say they SHOULD trade Miggy? No where. Let's read that part of my post again. I'll highlight the key words so you can actually understand.
Youk said:
The Tigers come out and say that because if they admit it's true, then fans would be in an uproar. Don't flatter yourself by thinking you've got it down pat. What were the Red Sox looking for earlier this season? A 1B or 3B with power. Are the Red Sox willing to pay? Yes, they are. If the Tigers were cellar dwellers AGAIN, then they aren't going to just stand around not doing anything. Was it 100% that they'd trade him? No. Was it even 50%? Probably not, but it's Peter Fucking Gammons, with the sources he has hes not going to just pull something out of his ass like that.
Now, we can see in the first bold statement that I agree that the Red Sox would be willing to pay for a guy like Miggy, depending on what was asked for in return. In the second bold statement, I say that the Tigers wouldn't just stand pat and not do anything if they are cellar dwellers. This leaves open the possibility for old veterens to be traded, but no one specific is named. There goes another argument of yours. Statement number three shows that I never thought Miggy would be traded.
Next Big Thing said it right,
If it means anything, i remember clearly when that report first came out that they said miggy would only be traded if the tigers struggled the furst couple months b/c of his contract.
and
He was telling you stop pulling shit out of ur ass about where the ESPN columnists are from dude.
By the way, you never touched on my original argument about you saying ESPN writers just make up rumors because they are all only fans of Boston, LA, and NY. Let's hear about that. You completely ignored it this time. I'll wait for you to get home off the school bus.

Thank you for pointing out the most important part.
(From a more recent post)
It only was my whole argument and 3/4 of my post. Not that important.
