Let's face it, the Mets are trying to be competitive but noway this team is sniffing close to .500, especially when the Phils and Braves were already the top notch teams here...then the Marlins take away arguably our best player, add a few more pieces and the Nationals, who were hovering around .500 are a Fielder signing and Bryce Harper appearance next year from having one deadly fucking lineup...
The Mets have to bank on their minors, which to me is starting to look promising. Just hope one of these stud pitchers in Harvey, Wheeler, Familia, or Meija can make a difference in the next 3-4 years and anchor this staff. I'm just excited for the kids on this roster at this point.
